The strategy of the game is interesting, and the ladder-system brings longevity to the game. As for the visuals, they seem intended to evoke sophistication, but I think that more exciting visuals would enhance the experience. Still, I would recommend the game if you don't mind the simple visuals, and you enjoy turn-based strategy games.

Psychedelic visuals and cool soundtrack; fun gameplay with decent replayability; developer is very responsive to feedback; great value.

Edit: there have been several major content updates since my original review, and the value of this game is now beyond bonkers.

A pretty cool roguelike that establishes a sense of continuity across multiple lives, but could have more depth.

"Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?" is a charming game where you take on the role of a tot who assumes control of his missing grandpotato's weapon shop. Your shop earns fame and fortune by selling useful weapons, and by fulfilling smithing contracts and requests. You need $tarch to pay your employees' salaries, and to use in the research of new weapons. As you earn fame, you will be able to expand into new regions, and you will receive requests from legendary heroes.
Send your employees to explore new regions and collect crafting materials, and send your experts to research new weapon recipes for crafting. Train your employees and assign them to the relevant station in order to maximize the desired traits of the weapon in progress. Oversee and assist your employees at their stations, and send your pet dog to cheer up grumpy employees. Remember to feed the dog, and to allow him plenty of rest. If all of that sounds good, then you will probably like this game.

Human Resource Machine is a game about programmatically sorting tiles, and about climbing the corporate ladder. As you progress, business conditions will change, and your character will gain seniority. You will gain access to greater sorting functionality, and you will be entrusted with more sophisticated sorting tasks. Optional side content exists for those seeking greater difficulty. Those seeking to extend their playtime may choose to optimize their sorting methods. I recommend this game for people who enjoy puzzles of moderate difficulty.

Wizardry Online is a torture simulator with mmo aesthetics. Prepare to suffer through thousands of traps, lots backtracking, and quizzes on game lore. Highly recommended.
