This game is a must have

Amazing game

So I decided it was time for me to re-write my review of AC2 since my old one was very outdated and alot has happend to this franchise since then.

To start of, I still think AC2 is the best game in the franchise, BY FAR. It is my favourite game of all time, and even 9 years later, its still a damn masterpiece. The story and characters are still get to be beaten by another AC game and I am happy to say that this game has aged very well. Yeah the gameplay isn't quite as fluid as the new games, but its still incredibly fun, and the graphics still look supprisingly good for a game from 2009 (the PC version came out in 2010), showing just how far ahead ubisoft were with the open world games all those years ago.

The story in this game is excellent, the music and atmosphere of this game is amazing, and running around all these awesome italian citys is still so much fun. There are a few things I miss from the later games, like insta-fail missions if you get detected by a guard, even if you kill him before he can alert anyone else, and the climbing might feel a little slow compaired with the newer games.

But dispite the few issues, this is still the best game in the AC franchise to me, and with the direction ubisoft are taking the franchise it looks like its going to remain the best AC game for the foreseeable future.

Regardless of if you are a fan of the franchise, or have never played an AC game before, BUY THIS GAME. It is a masterpiece. Its a great place to start if you want to get into the franchise, and even if you don't care about AC, please give this game a chance, you will not regret it. There are very few games I can recommend this much, and for me, this game is just near perfect. I will give it a 10/10.
