Mafia: Definitive Edition – When being a taxi driver just doesn’t pay enough

Sure, it looks like an open-world game… but don’t let Lost Heaven fool you — this isn’t GTA. The world’s open, but the story’s got you by the collar, and it ain’t letting go (not that you’ll mind).

You play as Tommy Angelo, an everyday cabbie who takes one wrong turn into the mob life — and trust me, it’s one hell of a ride. The storyline is gripping, full of twists, betrayal, and “WTF” moments.

Visually? A beautiful throwback to 1930s America, dripping in smoky jazz bars, vintage cars, and suits sharper than your aim. Speaking of aim — the gameplay’s no joke, especially on Classic difficulty. Driving feels authentic, shooting feels deadly, and some mission keeps your palms sweaty.

This remake is a love letter to the original — respectful, refined, and a perfect example of how a remake should be done. The voice acting, music, and atmosphere are top-tier. The city, though? Looks great, but feels a bit empty once the story ends — side quests are nonexistent, collectibles are plenty, but at least there’s a Free Ride mode for sightseeing those collectables.

Minor gripe? Some odd window reflections — nothing game-breaking, just a little visual hiccup.

Clocked in 14 hours, and honestly… I will be coming back to it someday.
If you love story-driven action games with a classic mafia vibe — this one’s an offer you shouldn’t refuse. 😉

Firewatch – Alone in the woods… but with a radio buddy. Still kinda lonely.

Labeled as an “adventure” game, but your biggest adventure here is hiking from point A to point B while chatting with someone who identify as your co-worker over the radio. The story is linear, and your choices are mostly just for show—don’t expect any major consequences.

The plot starts off intriguing, builds suspense nicely… and then sort of fizzles out in the end. You might even ask yourself, “Wait, that’s it?” Maybe the game wanted to leave you with that empty feeling—who knows.

Visually, it’s pretty in a minimalistic, artistic way, but those those "WOW" moments are very few.
The soundtrack and musics are so mid. But voice acting was absolutely top-notch.

It’s a short 4–5 hour experience. Personally, I wouldn’t play it again. But if you’re into mysterious, slow-paced, introspective stories, Firewatch might deserve a spot somewhere on your list.
If you’re looking for action, excitement, or fast-paced gameplay… well, maybe skip the woods this time.

Either the game developers don’t know or don’t understand what they’re trying to do — or I didn’t understand what they did. But the one thing I do know is that "Bigger is not always better"

After investing 113 hours into Assassin's Creed Origins, I can confirm it's a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs. The RPG elements inject fresh blood into the series, making Bayek's journey entertaining. However, the game takes 'historical fiction' to a whole new level with gods popping up like unexpected party crashers (just under name of animus glitch or something). The map size? Let's just say it's perfect for those looking to practice their marathon skills. As for the other characters, Cleopatra and Caesar deserved better treatment than mere afterthoughts in a mediocre lineup. Despite its flaws, Origins manages to keep the Assassin's Creed flame flickering, albeit with occasional hiccups

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice: where linear meets the Norse, and your thumb meets the X button. If you've ever dreamed of a game where you can follow a straight line with the occasional sword swing, this is it. Combat so basic, even your pet rock could master it. But hey, who needs complex gameplay when you've got stunning graphics and sound effects that make you question if you're in the game or just hallucinating?
