In conclusion, the advantages of indirect taxes outweigh the disadvantages as one way or another indirect taxes contribute to the government’s revenues something that will enable them to increase government spending which will result to better public services like roads and schools something that will increase SOL for everyone in the country in the long run. Moreover, if the government has money from the indirect taxes they will be able to give subsidies to firms and producers in an attempt to decrease their costs of production and prevent cost push inflation. However, the government needs to have other sources of revenue too as like I mentioned before consumer behavior is unpredictable. Overall, the advantages of indirect taxes outweigh the disadvantages.
