Really well thought out puzzles with tons of hidden secrets and surprises to find. It will be confusing at first because the game doesn't explain much but that's part of the puzzle - figuring out how to interact with the mini worlds and which pieces you can resize and use with other things to progress. And you often get to break stuff xD I hope they make a sequel!

I'm really happy they're working on a "cure" mode, I've been itching to play this again but at the same time it doesn't feel right amid a real pandemic! If you're not sure you'll like this, try Pandemic 2 - it's a free flash game I spent many hours on years ago, it's a basic version of this.

Another vote for OpenRCT2. Doooo it! Takes a min to download and install and you just open your new link with Steam running. I previously said it still counts as playing it on Steam but the last few times it hasn't added to my play time, I'm not sure why. It's still worth it to get rid of the bugs and get some extra options and a few little QoL updates.

Without OpenRCT2 I would have to give it a thumbs down as it's pretty buggy - like crashing when saving and thus losing progress...

It takes a while to get used to the graphics, it can be hard to make out what you're looking at at times. Also you can't turn the camera with the mouse, only zoom in and out. There are 4 fixed angles which you switch to by clicking or with a hotkey.

If you can get past that though it's still a lot of fun after all these years!

Sorry but can't recommend this, it's the first game I've ever asked to be refunded. I used a WMR headset and the controllers aren't integrated, i.e. they do nothing within the game so I couldn't get anything to happen at all until I read a review that says you have to use the space bar, which is really inconvenient when you can't see due to, you know, having a headset on. So you either need to have someone else present to press the space bar for you, or rush back into position while repositioning your headset.

Also the game doesn't automatically put the player in the correct position on the ride, you are supposed to be in the seat but I was hovering above and to the side of a headless body and I didn't care to try to somehow position myself correctly while at the same time trying to get my headset sorted after pressing the space bar.

A relaxing game with a beautiful world to explore and a nice soundtrack. There's nothing particularly challenging, just pure exploration and an interesting backstory to uncover along the way. Those who are saying they finished the game in a couple of hours haven't bothered to really play the game, they just beelined to the end - it would be like playing Skyrim and only doing the main quest. You won't find out much of the backstory doing that.

There's a nice feature to take carefully positioned screenshots too.

If you want a challenge, this game isn't for you. But if you want a game where you can just kick back for a while this is a good choice. It's expensive for what it is at full price, but I got it on sale and it was well worth it.

I adored this game. The way the music integrates with the world is so masterfully done and I still have the tunes popping back into my head weeks after completing the game. I've even since been on youtube to see the boss fights again because the way they were done was just so good. (Don't spoil it for yourself by watching beforehand though!)

I'm still trying to work out if this is a game for kids or adults. It looks and plays like a kid's game; the combat is simple and most of the puzzles are easy to solve (it does get harder later on). But there are some dark themes (that would go over kid's heads - at least I don't know any nihilistic kids!) and there is some swearing which I'm not sure why they included - it's very infrequent (maybe 3 times) and while I personally wanted more, I don't think they should have included the swearing at all because then it would be suitable for all ages and I'm sure kids would LOVE this game. The swear words were turkey t i t (said to Piper the bird haha) and b a s t a r d by the way.

I thought from watching the trailers that the voice of Piper the bird might get on my nerves but she doesn't talk that often really so if that's putting you off it's not an issue and you will see why they made her that way as you play the game. In fact the voice work of all the characters is wonderfully bizarre and one of the highlights of playing.

Overall a great little game, sometimes pleasant and relaxing, sometimes dark, sometimes emotional, sometimes funny. Worth getting for the music alone.

Update: Just nominated this for the "write your own" award! I wrote "More Than Just A Soundtrack" since the music is so well integrated in the game.
