A stunning, well-balanced MMORPG with rich worldbuilding, meaningful characters, and a surprisingly wholesome community (I'm on the Cactuar server). If you have played a lot of other FF games, you are in for a treat as this is, as it is often said, a love letter to the franchise.

Despite a slow start and housing frustrations, the game offers deep class variety, rewarding crafting/gathering, and endless side content. Playing with friends is an absolute blast. Simply put, game's a masterpiece worth your time, with balance. I play casually and it's been a blast the past few years. The dedication to the world & lore is stellar and I can't recommend the game enough.
