It does just what it says on the tin. Orky racing with lots of different vehicle classes that all fulfill a different role. As someone who likes to paint ork models I also appreciate that they're all authentic to the models. The only thing I wish was in the game was a story mode.

One game mode is more of a straight forward race to the checkpoints. The slow, tanky vehicles are still good in this because they can back up the racers since these points are all pretty close by.
Stompa mode seems to be more popular, where two teams compete running a bomb into the enemy stompa. The faster vehicles are obviously best at quarterbacking this, but the other classes also shine at blocking enemies such as the grot tank or looted tank, or hilariously in the case of the rukkatrukk squigbuggy, healing.

Gameplay just devolved into blocking telegraphed green colored attacks and the doom slayer feels weaker than ever funnily enough. They slowed the gameplay down without really adding much to make up for it. Gone are the days of customized positional glory kills for every monster, and the game is easily cleared in a mindboggling 15 hours. Thats just outrageous for a 70 dollar game. You MIGHT milk another 5 hours 100%ing everything.

As far as the story goes the only interesting aspects are that they added an actual interesting demonic villain to pit against the Doom Slayer, and Bishop Kreed kind of reminds me of the big fat archbishop dude from Preacher.

Very, very good plot that goes toe to toe with the better Star Trek movies. It's also very good for a telltale style experience.

Bought this because I saw the author did a cover of an umineko track and boy I'm not very far in but the story is gripping so far.

It's honestly not that fun and every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mission is timed. Every mission feels like a sweaty multiplayer match. Also the combat is bone dry once you get past the great animations. Devs were like "you know what's fun? Rock paper scissors."

Jesus christ this game sucks. Look at it in another 3 years

This game is like crack. The end of act 1 felt like an actual ending, little did I know I've got a lot more to go. It's really good if you're into CRPGs and roman history.

So I just finished the game. The gameplay aspect got pretty old after act 2 (out of 5) but the story is super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ engaging if you're into Roman politics. The whole crux is that you're forced to decide between the easier option of sacrificing the morals of the republic for personal revenge (Like crossing the Rubicon) or do you stoically take the slings and arrows of this villain you know is guilty to preserve the republic.

This game is so promising because there's no civil war game out there like that, especially the career mode, but I can't recommend it because the AI is braindead, at least in career mode. Your commanding general will be content to sit back for literal days on end. I'm convinced the AI is just broken.

idk why people are sperging out so hard. Changeling is the most unique faction leader I've ever played. Can't speak for the Kislev witch. It's not even that much more expensive than the previous DLC's, unless you've been living under a rock for the last 5 years and expect 2018 prices.
