Hii :) Its mee, the author of this text. I don't know what I will write in this text box yet, but I'm thinking about surprising you with incoherent rambling. I feel like this box deserves more text then there was before, i.e. "Hii :)". I could've just written a normal introduction to this, but it felt kinda boring, idk. Nobody would want to read concise and ordered notes rather than a full paragraph of ramblings. I do really hope this doesn't have some kinda small word limit, it would be so funny if everyone opening my profile would just see this giant block of text. You, dear reader, will already have seen and experienced this, and I gotta say I'm kinda jealous, since I have to still finish writing this. This is kinda how I like to write journal entries, just one big paragraph, no line breaks etc. I guess I can talk about my journaling setup a bit, I have an old laptop, where I encrypted my OS partition, because I wanted it to be like the diary you'd have as a kid that is locked. Inside the OS I use "jrnl", which is an awesome command line tool to write journals. I use vim as the editor, since I found it the easiest to write the special characters that from time to time appear in names I want to write. I really like journaling, because I'm focused on writing and thinking about what I'm writing, which helps me process what happened since the last entry without the usual distractions. Enough about journaling though, I wouldn't want you to get bored. I'm sure this text is not boring at all. Totally. Anyway, I've seen some people use this text field to list their PC components, and I wanted to use that that thought to complain to you, dear reader, about the changes AMD is making to the drivers for my graphics card, an RX 580. They split the driver used for this generation of cards from the normal driver, that all the newer cards get. This means, that my card wont get any more game specific improvements and fixes, and there might be games coming out in the future that will have issues with my card. I'm really happy though that AMD rolled out so many new features to older cards like mine, for example all the upscaling stuff. I'm sure that my card will be fine for some more years though. Its also kinda funny that the RX 580 is still the most used dedicated AMD graphics card in use, according to the Steam Hardware survey. I will now tell you about what games I'm currently playing. I decided to give The Witcher 3 another shot, because I liked playing Cyberpunk 2077 so much. I originally put it away because I was not captured by it, maybe a bit bored, but now I'm enjoying it so far. Maybe I didn't like the a bit slower pacing back then, and was frustrated with the combat, since I've never really played a game before where you fight mainly by sword. Not sure why actually, but that kinda RPGs just never looked interesting enough to me. And I do think I prefer combat with guns. I feel like when I tried it back then I had no sense for "the vibe", like just how nice it is to exist in this world, and trying to be a "normal" guy there, not that a witcher would be a normal person. The only thing that sucks now is that I'm kinda lost on the story, since I for some reason started where I left off and didn't start a new save. Even though I could've used that tutorial and all the story you get in the beginning. Another game I'm currently playing with a friend is Fallout 76, we wanted to play a game together, and Fallout 76 is not a good game to do missions together, but were on the same page until now and having fun. I do also really like the worldbuilding in this game, I love the mix of retro tech elements and post-apocalypse. Other that that I have no big games that I'm currently playing, I just play this and that when I feel like it. I am looking to pick up Teardown again, its a fun game that would be even more fun if I wouldn't be such a perfectionist in it.
