I have no clue about regular DayZ, but Stalker RP is pretty good.

I loved every minute in the main menu.

It is, as transparently stated by the dev, still clearly IN development.
There is unfinished stuff, unbalanced stuff (like archers dealing almost no damage, you can literally sit out sieges by just standing there, taking archer fire for 90 days and not lose a single warrior), and there are bugs.
Some are minor, like some alert message about freezing or homeless villagers not disappearing (often only until save&reload).
But I have also encountered a bug that corrupted my save, forcing me to start anew.

That said, the base the game already has is super fun and time flies by as you develop your village and fend off bandits. It will surely take another couple years to get finished and polished up. If you want that settlement/colony/strategy itch scratched, and don't mind playing a clearly unfinished product, you can buy this already and have great fun.
Otherwise, just wait longer, cause this is looking to be a great title. I hope the dev is able to capitalize on the potential. Unused potential in the end is just that - unused, and the game has to be regarded for what it is, not what it could be.

Crusader Kings is by far the best franchise of Paradox imo.
Addicting time-furnace that turns you into a monster moral relativist more quickly than you imagine.

Bringing out a 70$ game in a decent state to farm good reviews, only to then slam disgusting microtransactions/battle pass into it afterwards? You gotta be kidding...

Surprisingly good release.
I cannot stress enough how much I love the short loadtimes. Tekken 7 was a PAIN. Especially the 2-player-mode in Tekken 8 with instant restarts is AMAZING!!

Game is a lot of fun with friends. It's eery, scary, but invokes our innate sense of exploration and curiousity. Learning it takes time, and it can be quite punishing. Not demotivating though. A creature STOLE our gun from a dead teammate, ran 1 meter in front of me to taunt me with it, only to then run away with it. It killed me aswell a few minutes later...

GOTY!
As close to a TTRPG as a videogame has ever achieved. Made by gamers, for gamers. You notice that everywhere - design philosophy, polishing, gamedesign, monetization, support... This is what gaming could and should be.

Gothic 1 & 2 sind die wahrscheinlich besten Rollenspiele die uns je geschenkt wurden.
Unerreichte Immersion. Kein nerviges HUD überall, kein Handholding, keine Questmarker. Eine glaubhafte Welt in der man nicht gleich als strahlender Held startet, sondern sich seinen Ruf und seine Stärke erarbeiten muss. Ein Kampfsystem das zwar gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, aber mehr Tiefe bietet als Elder Scrolls und Konsorten sich je träumen mögen. (Nebenbei ist das Spiel nach der Eingewöhnungsphase auch super entspannt mit einer Hand spielbar.) Wundervolle Soundtracks und die beste deutsche Synchronisation im gesamten Spielemarkt - allein die tollen deutschen Sprecher machen es schon spielenswert.

Auch nicht unerwähnt lassen darf man die unzähligen fantastischen Modifikationen. Diese schenken neben tollen Erweiterungen auch komplett neue Spielwelten, teilweise komplett vertont und im guten, alten Gothiccharme.
SPINE ist hier das wichtigste Stichwort. Gothic auf Steam laden, Spine installieren. Es patcht Gothic automatisch auf einen wunderbar spielbaren Zustand auf modernen Systemen, und bietet in der Moddatenbank alles was das Herz begehrt.
