A wonderful multiplayer game, that was neglected and overridden by bots for years. Surprisingly, Valve appear to have finally stopped the ridiculous flood of bots ruining official servers. #fixtf2 won! Though part of me is suspicious the bots will just return after the Summer update is over... this'll flip back to negative if the situation goes back to how it was before.

Near-perfectly executed. But very short. Like this review.

Wonderful minimalist stealth action game, very satisfying movement once you get the hang of it, and the level design works really well with the mechanics.
It's short, but it's a very tightly designed lil package. Good for speedrunning or challenge runs like knife only or non lethal (you can unlock the doors by pressing F on each enemy, which will disable their electronics without killing them).

A few tips for beginners:
1. The slide move lets you go in any direction (you can slide backwards or sideways) and is really good for moving in quickly for stabs
2. Jumping during a slide will retain your momentum (with the exact amount of speed and distance based on when in the slide you jump, and if you're on a slope, which gives you a boost). You can also keep this momentum through wall jumps after a slidejump. This is rlly important for parkouring around and getting cool kills (I wish the game tutorialised it somewhere)
3. You can disable the game's default mouse smoothing by editing an ini

An incredible fusion of classic FPSs and character action games.

Quick, satisfying movement with a high skill ceiling, with moves that can be comboed for advanced techniques like ultraboosting, super slide jumping and dash storage
A brilliantly creative arsenal of weapons with abilities designed to combo into each other in inventive and difficult ways (including the Marksman revolver, which makes a simple coin into one of the most complex and satisfying to master weapons in FPS gaming)
A healing system that encourages you to dive into the action instead of plinking away from a safe distance
Fast paced levels with a multitude of mechanics and aesthetics, with almost every level introducing something new, and "Encore" bonus levels to up the challenge after the main campaign
Enemy types with unique quirks and weaknesses to learn
Memorable and intimidating boss fights to test your skills
A variety of secrets from quick little collectables to levels that completely change up the gameplay (there might even be some new things you can use in the main levels, hidden somewhere in Hell...)
Intriguing lore told in unobtrusive text logs and occasional dialogue
A distinctively chaotic DnB/industrial metal/noise-ish? (it's kinda all over the place) (in a good way :P ) OST
A range of difficulty levels, from easy enough for people new to FPSs to hard enough for experienced players (with one final ultimate difficulty yet to be added, for the masochistic or super-skilled)
An endless mode with a shifting level and randomised enemy waves, so you can fight for your place on the leaderboards (with an amazing default music track, and the ability to make custom playlists ingame)

A style system that rewards you for pulling off cool tricks and using a variety of weapons, making you feel like a badass robotic demon destroyer

And a ranking system that encourages you to master the game through replaying, chasing those delicious P-Ranks, by playing faster and better

I truly believe this is one of the best action games ever made, and my personal favourite game of all time... and it's still not done! I cannot wait to see what Hakita and his team have in store for Fraud and Treachery.

Very unique rhythm game with a cool concept and good music. Has a very high skill ceiling with the optional lamps, badges for hitting everything perfectly, and options to make it harder like playing without markers; but is also very accessible with a fairly forgiving bar for clearing each level and options for increasing timing windows, making markers bigger, and automating parts of the game. I wish this game was more well-known.

This game deserves to be way more well known IMO. The combat mechanics are really well designed, and the cryptic and symbolic story is really good as well. I'll also note that the art style is a lot easier to read in the middle of combat than you might expect based on the trailers (I was worried it'd be a big problem but it's actually fine). (Also don't want to spoil, but the corruption meter isn't too much of a problem either, since you get a good way to deal with it about halfway through the game, and it works really well with the story's themes as well.)

PS. If you care about the story at all (or want to unlock the last few mantras) you should definitely play new game +, it has a LOT of extra stuff, definitely worth the time. (I'd also recommend deliberately getting corrupted at some point, since there's some unique stuff you only get by being corrupted, including a mantra and some story stuff)

If you liked the original SUPERHOT, this is basically that but with 3 playable characters, rougelike style runs, upgrade shops (Ultra Hotswitch is the best), and new enemy types. IMO it's arguably better than the original.

(Although I should note that like the original, it doesn't have a FOV slider, which might be a problem if low FOV gives you motion sickness. The devs should've really added that before it went out of early access.)

If you like 90's style FPSs like Doom, Quake, Blood etc., you will almost certainly like this game. (I considered adding more but I think most of the rest of the praise I have for this game would come across as hyperbole. Just know it's REALLY good.)

(Also I've played it for more than 1.8 hours, the time reset when the game officially went into Early Access.)

This is a really good super hard platformer. Sort of like if VVVVVV was a metroidvania. The fact that this game has gotten so little attention is kinda sad since it has superb level design and a surprisingly well done difficulty curve. It's really short though, but everything you get is high quality.
