166.66666 repeating (lol) days worth of game play and counting... and

War Thunder's still my go-to when I need to unwind. Been playing since 2017, and it still hits the spot.

It's not perfect - the grind can be a pain, and yeah, sometimes you'll get your ass handed to you by some dude who's apparently been playing since birth. But when you're in the thick of it, engine roaring, shells flying past... man, nothing beats that rush.

The attention to detail is insane. These devs must dream in blueprints or something. And the way everything moves and fights? Spot on.

Look, if you're into military history or just want to blow ♥♥♥♥ up in style, give it a shot. Just keep an eye on the clock - this game has a way of making time disappear.

Solid

Love the feel -- needs a lot of work, obviously. But I can see in ~6-12 months it being a really solid shooter. Sucks that's how games are made nowadays... but, what better way to beta test a game then to release it to the masses.

Waited a year for Cyberpunk to catch up to where it needed to be, and although there's still a fair amount of bugs, it's overall one of the best shoot-em-up RPGs I've played... heavily lifted up by the awesome story telling and more adult/realistic themes.

Honestly one of the most enticing games I've ever played -- it's not riddled with action by any means, but the action does exist is pretty fun, especially in space. Upgrading your equipment, learning to speak to aliens, mining crazy space elements... the list goes on. If you need to be engaged in a firefight every few minutes and hate map design and exploration... this game is definitely not for you.

HOWEVER, if you love science, space, spaceships, exploration, amazing planets, amazing atmosphere, being able to name your own planet and its moon... if you want to explore an insanely huge galaxy and never know what's around the next corner *ahem* next star. This game is absolutely perfect for you.
