The core of the game is very fun and well executed, but they forgot a lot of lessons from PoE1 that make the game much worse than it should be, independent of the slower/ruthless way the game is designed to be played.

Incredible combination of building game with roguelite elements!
The first 10 hours went by in a breeze, and there is no sign of it becoming less addicting anytime soon.

Finished the game on Commander+Ironman (second highest difficulty).
The turn timers are fine, grenades and mimic beacons let you play agressively while you enjoy the destruction you cause instead of boring overwatch camping all the time.
Don't hate the game because you are bad, try to improve your skill!

It does have performance issues though.
