I tried to get the game to boot, but it continued to fail to launch. It was unclear if the problem was the DRM or something else, as I was able to get the game's launcher working but nothing else. This was several days before the developers announced that they're closing the game. I would seek a refund, but I got a code for the game for free, so whatever.

Feels like a very poorly designed take on the roguelite deckbuilder genre.

No, this game isn't really about ponies. This is a nice little hidden gem of an indie game, and while the game is very short, the price tag is very fair.

Undertale is a very quirky, memorable, and unique experience. It straddles between an RPG and a "bullet hell" game, while implenting many quirky mechanics and situations I haven't seen implemented in games before. Easily one of the best games to release in 2015.

Porting issues, repitive gameplay, low production quality, bad music. Even though I only played it for half an hour, I really didn't get the impression that any of these isssues would be made better as the game progressed. Needless to say, I refunded it.

The atmosphere is amazing, the level design is great, the lore is top notch, and of course, the combat is very satisfying and rewarding.

I only have three complaints:
1) It's PC optimized like garbage. DSFix helps, but I'd still recommend the PS3 version if you have a PS3.
2) Making the trek between a boss you keep dying on and the nearest bonfire can be tedious and boring.
3) The game forces you into NG+ after beating the final boss without a warning or a choice.

Even with these flaws it's still one of the best games of last generation.

A fast-paced FPS that throws cover out the window in favor of high speed and intesnse gunfights. The majority of the weapons are satisfying to use, and the game is actually pretty funny.

If you're the type of person who wants to pay $1 for a screen saver, this is the game for you!

I was expecting an RPG about a bunch of quirky poor kids surviving the 30's; it did not live up to my expectations.

Jokes aside, I don't see why this is even on steam. Everything in this "game" could easily be achieved on a website with entry level web development background.

Ok, so this is basically a VN with extremely minimal content. Nothing interesting happens, the writing is average and bland, and the protagainst is described in a way that's too detailed to really be an effective avatar of the player, yet not detailed enough to an external character the player can emphathize with.

Even though Depression Quest is free, don't waste your time.

This game is incredibly ♥♥♥♥♥♥. That being said, the game is also incredibly cheap. You can pick it up for less than a dollar. Despite being incredibly bad, it has it's moments of hilarity, both intentional and unintentional. It's so bad it's good.
