about 5 hours in, and it is great!

Desperados is a real-time tactical stealth game, and if you've played the other desperados games, or commandos back in the days, you'll feel right at home.
Desperados is amde by Mimimi. who also made Shadow tactics, which is the same kind of game. Mimimi has taken the formular they used in shadow tactics, and put it to good use in a western themed game. I feel like it's even better than shadow tactics, but it might be because I like the setting better. they are both great games!

Desperados, like shadow tactics, has good replay value too. After completing a mission, you'll "unlock" side missions, that can make you play the same level, very differently than you did the first time, if you want to complete them. (you CAN do them the first time around too, but you can't see what they are, before you've completed the level) there has already been a few side missions that made me think "oh, was that a possibility too? I'll have to try and see if i can do that" which is very cool

it's pretty much more of the same, which is just fine by me. I've heard of people calling it hitman 1.5, which I can't disagree with. But if it works, don't fix it. I feel like IOI has found a formular that works pretty well. There are multiple targets in each level, and quite a few fun and creative ways to kill each target.

A thing I do believe is new, is the possibility to change the difficulty, but I might just mis-remember.

It's also pretty cool, that the game, let's you play the stages from the last game, if you already own it (or buy a GOTY DLC for hitman 2) which will let your mastery level carry over.

There are 6 new stages of hitman-y goodness, and I feel the stages are even more polished than last time.

Now I'm just waiting for Hitman 3, which seems to be more of the same again. And that's alright with me!

I played the game for a few hours, and had to exit. When I wanted to load it up again, the intro screens played fine, right up until the actual menu is supposed to appear.

I just get the background, and a prompt to go back by pressing the left mouse button (which also does nothing)

I've tried reinstalling the game three times, on two different harddrives even. The last time I even deleted the files in the AppData/local folder but still, no succes.

I then put it in windowed mode, which enabled me to open task manager, and then found out that the game is not responding.

During those few hours, the controls felt kinda wonky with mouse and keyboard.

I can't say much about either the story or the gameplay, but the graphics were alright

I really like this game, I've been playing side by side with three friends, and even though we have only played roughly 8 hours, we have already experienced vastly different outcomes, to the same quests. during the tutorial, one of us succeded in a persuasion check and got some items he needed, i choose to fist fight the NPC up, and was given the items afterwards. the last one of us, choose to enter his house, and steal the items, got caught and ended up in jail. this might seem like a simple example, but our stories took vastly different directions, shortly there after.

The game is beautiful, with great animations, and thus, awesome body language from NPC's.

The combat system started out feeling a little complicated, but after about 4-5 hours, we started to get the hang of how it works, and one you do get the hang of it, it feels really great.

I also really like the setting. you really do feel like you are in the medieval times, while looking at everything like the looks of houses and armor-types. there is also a pretty big codex. telling you about how things worked during the time period, like what it means to be a woman, how social classes worked and who the popes are and all kind of stuff, really.

The biggest flaw, so far, have been the path finding of NPC. I once saw an NPC, just walking into a wall, instead of going around the building, which he kept doing, until i walked into him.

I would also have liked to be able to creat my own look for my character, since you really start out as a "mr. nobody" anyway. but this is really a minor flaw.

the game is really demanding though, and i have had a few stutters from time to time, where the game went into a complete halt for a few seconds.

Having played almost every popular (and unpopular) CRPG since baldurs gate 1 was released in 1998, I'm suprised, but amazed to say, that Divinity original sin 2, might be one of, if not the best CRPG I have played in ages. It might even surpass my love for fallout 1. In a few days, Divinity original sin 2, became my most played game on steam.

The main storyline is somewhat generic, but almost all of the side-quests are amazing, with most of them having multiple outcomes. When i began, i wasn't sure how i felt about the pre-generated characters (even though you can make your own too) but having played through the game, both alone and with friends, i actually love it. it gives the game quite alot of replayability, because the game feels more chracters driven, than most CRPG's do.

The turn-based combat system feels amazing to me. I've read complaints about the armor system. But i like it, because you can't just stun-lock every enemy. You have to be more tactical than that. exspecially on the harder difficulties.

It has some bugs, but larian seems to be doing what they can to fix them.

overall the graphics might be a little outdated, but it has alot of charm, and some nice spell effects.
