I freaking wish this game was good. I had some hours in it back during its days of glory, and oh boy where they good. Even as some dumbass kid that barely knew how to play you could get some stuff done, and i even managed to unlock a car (which was very fun to drive people around with) and a light tank!

But now.. Well i hope you like grinding several matches just to be able to barely afford an smg. There's plenty more problems that I haven't even faced yet due to how quickly I dropped it now out of disgust.
If you're someone that played it back during its glory days and you're reading this, do yourself a favor and don't reinstall. It's not worth it in the slightest.

A great card game to pick up with friends.

Are any of the monthly purchases worth it? no just stay f2p
But it's still darn good, and free so there's no penalty to just trying it.
Get some good friends that'll show up consistently enough that you can do all the missions together, and you'll get plenty of good times out of it.

10/10 would get oneshot by a trap i didn't notice again.
The game is tough, and will not hold it's punches. All the while giving you the ability to get a ridiculous amount of power through customizing your wands. A burst of overconfidence usually leads to a quick fall, but damn do i love it.

And on top of that, ofcourse the madlads added workshop support too, as if there wasn't enough content already.

An absolute classic that still holds up today.
Sure for stuff like multiplayer the numbers are pretty low, but there's still enough to be able to hop in and have fun even if all your friends are offline. Honestly if someone needed to make a list of essential games to have on your steam library this game would certainly be among it.

Oh also the workshop's cool, although you'll most likely use it for reskins more than anything else. Not saying there's not quality campaigns and maps out there, just don't expect to be changing the whole game with workshop mods.

A ton of content, solid gameplay, customization, while also looking great and running well. All of that for a mere 10 euros
It's better with friends, and oh look there's a 4-pack that helps with that, reducing the price further
AND it has so many mods if you do ever get bored you can slap whole games worth of content onto the basegame. Seriously check out mods like calamity, they're insane.

A fantastic story generator worth every penny.
Gameplay and replayability through the roof, enough workshop mods to last a lifetime and customize every little bit you want, i can promise you this game will most likely suck you in for a long long while.

Oh and know how usually trailers seem better than the actual gameplay? Yeah no that's not the case here
Sure it won't be 100% action 100% of the time, but you'll run into way more special scenario's than you'd think.

Is it flawed? yes
Are there way too many dlc's at way too high prices? oh freaking definitely dude
Do I still love the game to pieces? YES

There's a great bit of customization, the gameplay is good (And due to workshop support can be changed if it gets repetitive), and in general it's a great experience.
Do take friends with you though, it is INFINITELY better that way
And do your wallet a favor and buy when there's a sale, + check which dlc's are trash and you don't need. You don't want to pay the equivalant of 2 full AAA titles just for the dlc.

I honestly can't describe the reaction I got from finishing this game, everything about the story is just incredible
Lay that on top of some great gameplay, and you got yourself a game well worth the money

*Also you can keep using the starter pistol effectively throughout the whole duration of the game i'd say that's pretty neat*

A great horror game with great challenge and lore, hey it's free too so you have no excuse not to try it

Honestly can't recommend this game enough, its an absolute masterpiece. Don't spoiler yourself especially with some of the example vids, and just have a great time.

The story is the best part, gameplay too although some of the bosses can be a bit lacking in difficulty, for me i had to hold back on using some equipment. That's the only negative i have about the game though
