Firstly, this mod is SPECTACULAR.

There is something special about turning off the nausea-reducing comfort options and experiencing this game in all its fast-paced vomit-inducing intensity. I'm glad I have good VR legs because I can't see myself really enjoying this game any other way.

I found myself smiling multiple times during the airboat sequence and I was actually very sad when it was over. Never thought I could enjoy that portion so much.

I was expecting Ravenholm to be way more intense but I was just having so much fun chopping zombies in half in full first person and smacking headcrabs out of the air with my crowbar. Speaking of the crowbar, destroying manhacks has never been more satisfying.

The devs have put fantastic effort into making the game as amazing as possible in VR. The weapon selection system similar to HL:A works beautifully. Reloading is just complex enough that I tend to swap weapons mid-combat since it's faster. This adds some extra variety that I have been really enjoying. Also, the way 2-handed weapons have been implemented is very logical and immersive.

I have one suggestion if you plan to play this mod:
For the vehicle sections, get a swivel chair to sit in while driving. If you sit down and lean your head a bit backward before entering you will have the best automatic camera placement. During those sections I used the right controller for turning so I wouldn't trip over my chair but it was worth it.
