I f***ing love this game!

Recommended by a friend of mine, the concept of it caught my interest. Well I finally decided to pick it up, and I honestly can't believe I waited so long. Hellsinger offers something that really isn't out there on the market right now, or is rare. A game that forces you to follow the tempo of the music, and in doing so, mor effective at defeating your enemies.

Now before I go any farther I have to say, if you can't follow the tempo of music (tapping your foot), you might want to pass on this game. While there is graphic interfaces to help with this, I personally ignore them using the tempo of the music itself as my guide to be devastating.

Back to the review, this game is all around well done. Even when you take out the amazing job it does with a combat system around music, you still have a beautiful environment, well designed characters, and a good story, not to mention Troy Baker as the narrator sounds amazing (only one I could see better would have been Sam Elliott).

I also want to point out the weapons in this game. Their designers already are awesome (I also love the revolvers name, the "hounds" that includes Cerberus). But what I find almost mind blowing is their attributes. They aren't all the same in the sense you can choose what you want and they play the same. They have different styles of play you might say, handling different in relation to using them with the tempo of the music. For instance, the Hellcrow, is like a pair of boomerangs, however, because of how they work, you can't just continuously shoot them. I found myself using them ever 1st and 2nd beat of the tempo (then pause and repeat). To me this was VERY well done by the developers, adding that extra to this game that helps it stand out.

Oh and another cool think, all the music was composed for this game, so you can stream it, without fearing some copyright strike.

Now the game does offer the ability to adjust latency with the audio and visual, however, when I tried to configure this, it actually made it worst. My audio was offset, my video wasn't, and I found myself messing up. Not sure if it's meant to help with the visual cues or what, but for me, I leave it alone.

If you have any curiosity in this game, I would STRONGLY suggest purchasing it. Like I have laid out, it's rather unique in its nature, with not many games that can match. Where they didn't just take this "cool" feature and kind of build a game around it. Instead using it as a foundation and utilizing it to the fullest.

One last thing, piece of advice, you may want to turn down the sfx in the game. In my case, I need to hear the tempo of the music, and sometimes the sfx drown it out, causing me to mess up the tempo.

So I am not sure what everyone's hate about this DLC is. I rather enjoyed it myself, and completed it 100% (like all challenges, side quests, ext), though I honestly can't tell you how long it took me.

This DLC shines the most on the environments. The worlds designed were beautiful, and I was taking them in every bit. And the introduction of a few characters was done REALLY well. Additionally, many of the weapons this DLC introduces are a lot of fun to use, and while I haven't beaten the main game yet, have been some of my most favorite, especially the weapon related to the final boss (the 6 shooter). Now granted I do love the wild west theme a lot of times, so that might help.

The DLC also offers more environmental "tools" to use for fighting enemies (more then just an explosive barrel), though, I do hate how it unlocks later in the game, and you have to backtrack (though BL3 as a whole has this problem).

When it comes to the story, yes it wasn't the best, with the ending lacking a bit, and I wish they had built on some story elements a little bit more. However, at the same time it wasn't awful. I personally still enjoyed it. Maybe I just have low expectations and I am not playing it for just the story, or the fact the BL series has in the past has had some bad stories in DLCs (if any) ... or maybe there is no "maybe"

However, there is one thing I hated with a passion about this DLC, the ambient music. I don't know who mixed it, but there were multiple times I found myself quickly annoyed because it wasn't very ambient, and it reminded me of a record needle getting stuck.

... actually I lied, the worst part, there is no Cowbay Hat unlocked through this DLC! That is a crime

I'm pretty sure I bought this DLC as part of a bundle pack somehow, and I am glad I did, because I cannot see how this is justified for $5.

The done itself is not even a fast travel point, you have to access it trough the Nature Reserve. I only knew of it cause there was a quest (and that was after looking it up online). Once there, I beat it in like 15 - 20 mins. That's it, just 5 waves inside a "dome".

And don't mistaken this for something like Mad Moxxi's Underdome in the original game, it's tiny, and boring. Fighting pretty much the same enemies, with no variations, or anything.

If this was like the Hyperion Slaughter, I might have enjoyed it, as those fights are hard, and can net some good loot (as well as a nice way to farm Eridium), and I could repeat it, but that isn't the case. Only bother with this if it's dirt cheap! Especially when you look at the Headhunter DLCs that are $2.99, and offer a small story line and some diversity (plus a head skin).

Was is there not to say about Satisfactory. it's a building game, one that can quickly consume your life, and the hours of my playtime can show.

In all seriousness though this game is amazing, and I can never seem to get enough of it. Coffee Stain has done an amazing job building, and expanding it. Fixing, adding in items that the community requests. I truly feel they have a passion behind this game, that drives them to make it the best.

The game will have you trying to come up with clever ways to build structures and produce items. Running calculations to try and figure out the most optimal way, as you aim to have each of the machines list themselves as running at 100%. Then slap on mods you can download to expand that creativity.

I would strongly recommend this game, but be careful, it can draw you in. There is a joke that goes around about people getting hooked, drawn in, and never being the same. And it's true, and worth it. Also, don't feel shocked if you find you have spend over 100 hrs building a factory, I know I have, but proud of my skills

Finally got around to completing the story for this game, and while it was rather short, it was enjoyable. I love how as you play the main character, he is telling the story, with his "words" effecting the game (like if he forgets something all of a sudden it changes up).

The gameplay is also enjoyable as well, a good old shooter that one can just easily enjoy, and the visuals are really nice as well.

The only part I hate about the game, as many others have said too is the duels. Just because it seems that even if I do everything right, I still find myself struggling to win them. Probably the most frustrating part of the game.

I would strongly suggest picking up this game if you can. Possibly on sale (campaign took me less than 6 hrs). I should point out it does have stuff like a Duel Mode and Arcade Mode as well as New Game+, so there are options for extending the life, and I am starting to mess around with them, and they are not bad.

This soundtrack is awesome! It represents the American Bro ways ... or something like that (I tried).

But seriously if you get a chance, pick it up it's well worth the money, and offers some cool tracks (also as a bonus, some of the tracks are under the genre, "Democracy")

In all honesty, the following DLC does NOTHING really for the game. The only reason I bought it is because it was $0.79 (on sale), and I wanted to see what it was all about. It just adds a few extra moves you can use in your combos. Sometimes, that is purely visual, and, when you are dodging and such, you don't really see the actual effects of, just that you did them.

If it's on sale, you can give it a try, but, it's not really anything special

Remember Me is an interesting game, a hidden gem I would strongly recommend to anyone.

It's no going to be your action packed, tons of fighting and what not. Instead, it tends to be more story drive. The game is broken down mainly into going to from point to point, that many times involves climbing around, jumping across, ext (which, they do a nice job of helping you with, using indicators to show where you can go). Throughout the way, you will have fights, which, a lot of just pressing a series of buttons in pre-set combos, with the occasional puzzle along the way (there are a few near the end I liked, that were a brain thinker).

However, that's the basic, and it boils down to more.

First of all the environment that is created, and you explore is VERY well done. It's beautiful, and they make sure you can truly get to enjoy it. I won't go into the details to ruin it, but, for instance, they do a great job of showing this poverty and wealth gap by the worlds designs. I truly believe, this alone is why the game's story did as well as it did, because it did so much, visually. On top of that, the score (music) for the game is really unique, and only adds to the environment they are working to create. I wish they sold it, I'd buy it in a heart beat.

Secondly, fighting, and the combos you "build". Combos consists of preset buttons (there are 4 of them you build up), in which you assign Pressens, to each button press within the combo. As you execute the combo, you are rewarded, in relation to the Pressens you assigned to that step. Whether it be doing more damage with that hit, regen health, "stacking" the effects of the previous step, or, regaining the energy used to execute abilities you unlock along the way (forgot the proper names for these). Speaking of which, the abilities you unlock, aid in the fights as well. Sometimes making it easier to take down a specific enemy, or just, another approach. I will admit, it took me awhile to get the hang of building combos and utilizing my abilities, however, once I did, the game got even more fun, as fighting felt more enjoyable, as I had combos built out I really liked that were focused on certain "rewards", as well as how to optimize them with the abilities. I will tell you now, the dodge is key though, and sometimes it can get annoying as you feel you are spamming it as enemies keep attacking you, and, can result easily in you losing your combo (you can continue it, but sometimes, it seems when you switch enemies it's lost, or you didn't click fast enough ... though)

The puzzles aren't very hard in most cases, and I wouldn't even call puzzles to be honest, however, there are a few word game puzzles at the end, I really wish were more present. There is also "Remixing", that was REALLY fun, and I wish, the game offered more then just 4 total. I won't tell you more, so you can be surprised as I am, just note, while only one ending is successful for these, you can have multiple other endings.

The game only took me about 10-12 hrs to complete, but, it was fun. I am actually replaying it now, on the hardest difficulty, to get the rest of the collectables in the game (from the ones I have seen, they build the story more on things like why the world is the way it is). While I don't remember why I bought it, or when, I'm finally glad I sat down and played it.

One last thing, I would STRONGLY recommend a controller when playing, as the game seems better suited for it (especially when remixing).

Okay, I think I covered everything I wanted to say, without giving away too much. Again, I strongly recommend this game, just remember, it's more a story you are "playing along" with, then some action pack shooter or fighting game. Personally, I am so glad I picked it up, and I am actually looking to gift it to a few friends, because, once again, it's not really well know, however, what it offers, it should be.

I saw this game after I saw a streamer playing it and though it could be fun, and boy was I right.

Now the concept of losing all progress when you die seemed a little of a turn off at first, but, it's not all that bad. The way the leveling up in the game works (and skills unlocked), make it so this isn't always so bad. You quickly become stronger and stronger, and soon, those earlier levels aren't nearly as bad ... even if you do lose out on some really good builds because you got some really good weapons or scrolls one run.

That being said, there is one annoyance I have. I have made it to the 2nd boss only a handful of times, and only once, beat em, because I had some REALLY good scrolls and weapons that time around. However, even with that all I died rather quickly shortly after. I spent around 45 mins getting that far, and now, I'm probably going to spend quite some time to get their again. The ability to "practice" is what gets me. Bosses I see for the first time (or enemies) that took me awhile to get to that point, and I don't have enough time to learn of them before dying. It's a sink or swim approach feel sometimes (plus, side note, the 2nd set of levels do feel to drag on sometimes).

However, I do feel that what I mentioned earlier about skills and such, might be balancing out that pain, allowing me to get further along then just the one time. Still it does suck to sink that much time in and have it happen, but, it's also not the worst thing to me. Maybe because I know already it can happen.

Either way, I still love this game. It's a well built game that you can just pick up, play a bit, and put it down. You aren't committing yourself to countless hours of play, and with each run, you gain more points to improve your skills (making each worth something, especially when you get the ability that allows you to roll over your soul essence). However, I should warn you, there have been times I have spent longer then I expected on a play through, mainly, because I made it farther then expected.

Also, I should mention the game is pretty well built, and the devs have been doing a good job on it. The graphics are nice and I like the art style it takes. It's been rather bug free for me (*knock on wood*), and, they changes they are making to it keep seeming for the better (even though I did just get a surprise when the changed the first boss).

One last thing, I should point out that in the 7 hrs I have played, I feel I am missing out on stuff I haven't fully experienced at the time of this review, things that one might say I just scratched the surface of.

I played the first challenge, and that's it. I just couldn't get into the game. First of all, I thought there was some parkour aspect to it, which I saw nothing of (maybe I have been mislead all these years but I don't know). Not to mention, despite running over 60 FPS that game felt choppy, making it hard to play (like a mental block).

Also, while I'm no expert, this game seems to want to revolve around a multi-player aspect, and I question what story it even offers. Maybe some day I"ll go back and check it out, but, doubtful, since the graphic issue alone was causing me issues (possibly even literal headaches).

Oh, and I know it's still, but, I am actually surprised I have never heard a complaint that you only can customize a male character. That almost seemed like a shocker to me, since you have a game that let's you customize (once you unlock it, but some stuff you can only do once), yet stuck as a male.
