Really good game. Kind of a roguelike city builder that plays a bit like a puzzle. Good progression system, it's a lot of fun.

This game is a medieval version of Eve online. Full loot PVP, with safe areas and varying levels of unsafe/full loot PVP areas. Graphics are pretty bad. Economy is good, as tends to be the case in PVP games with equipment loss. Developer has some ups and downs as far as content goes. Player base is very toxic, which is kind of a staple in both PVP and free to play games.

Conditional thumbs up, if you like PVP, crafting, and absurd levels of grind. And can resist wanting to beat the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in chat to death with a rusty spork.

The tutorial is ridiculously long but the game is incredible, really fun.

This game could use a 3rd option besides just positive/negative, it's fun but buggy and overly punishing in some ways.

1) This game is not on ANY planet worth 40 dollars. Wait for a sale.
2) This game is NOT release quality. It is pretty buggy and some of the settings (eg thirst) are bizarrely tuned
3) Expect to die a lot, and expect to have a fun time retrieving your corpse
4) Gear takes a lot of damage and is sometimes overly expensive to repair

Ultimately the game is fun, but it's still in a beta state. The difficulty in some ways is overly high and/or poorly tuned. For example, in real life a human can live for 2 days without water, but in game you DIE if you don't get water in 8 hours. (Just sleeping will put you from full water to almost dying)

Ultimately the game IS fun if challenging, but the bugs and poor difficulty tuning really detract from the experience at times. It's more of a buy at 20-30 dollars, not 40. I'd feel better if they either did a lot more fixing of the game to make it release quality, or dropped the price.

There are people in the mental hospital with a firmer grip on reality than the people developing the game right now. Stay FAR away.

I wish I had read the top review before buying. That pretty much nails the issue. The game's challenge essentially comes from people upping their demands incessantly and quickly, thus forcing you to keep improving their comfort or lose. The problem is, these are colonists trying to survive in the hard frontier.. did they really not expect there would be hardships? The bottom line is the difficulty ramps unreasonably quickly and there's nothing you can do except pray for good RNG, so it's not really worth playing IMO.

This used to be a really good game even though it had terrible matchmaking but I came back after not playing for like 3 months and now there is a severe shortage of ammo to the point we wiped because there's no ammo boxes for very long periods of time. Just ridiculous. I will update my review if they ever fix it. It's a shame, game used to be fun, guess they wanted to force you to use the crappy sidearm pistol in standard difficulty missions, which is just over the top difficult for normal. Not fun.

I'm almost done with the game, I am editing my review to negative to warn Western players.

This is not a game, it is a CASINO! This game is about gambling, and it's done with intent, to make you feel bad about "losing" so you'll spend money to "win". That is why the game is free to play and that is how they make their money off you.

There is a process called honing which determines if you can progress with your equipment, and it's a scam. The chances are absurdly low, and hint, you will lose anyway. If you have not played an Eastern style MMO before please read my words and be warned of what you are getting in to.

This game starts off cool and fun and whatever, but after you get in, it turns into a casino where you can only progress by either soul crushing grinding, or paying money. You have to gamble to progress and you WILL LOSE. This is no way to spend your free time.

Please heed my words, this game will go the way of New World as the Western audience wakes up to what this game actually is. Unfortunately I've never played an Eastern style MMO and had to learn the hard way. RIP.

The bottom line is this game is a walking simulator. Every quest, the winter event, and everything else involves long boring walks all over the world back and forth, over and over. Everything has been nerfed to take longer. The endgame consists of crafting grind, gear grind, watermark grind, and materials grind. The best materials, dungeon keys and so forth have daily cooldowns. All of the content is gated. It's all designed to basically just take forever so you don't quit. The gameplay is fun but the juice just isn't worth the squeeze, unless you want to live in the game and tie your identity to success in PVP and the grind to get there.

It's kind of a dying game with an extremely toxic playerbase, but it's also one of few "decent" space MMOs out there. If you do play it, don't play it with an account made on Steam. You can use a referral link to get a bonus 1 million skill points when you make a new character, but NOT if you use Steam. You can use steam to download the launcher, but make your character on the website.
