Having separate games with separate DLC for multiplayer and singleplayer is such an obnoxious money grab.

Half-Life is back!

I had a ton of fun playing this game. My only complaints are the lack of melee combat, and the fact that the first half of the game felt like it was meant to be an introduction to VR more than to drive the story. That was an understandable choice, and the game was still fun, I just would've liked to see more story than "go in this direction and occasionally shoot an enemy" up until you meet Jeff . The story we do eventually get, though, is totally worth it, as long as Valve actually follows through on the cliffhanger this time .

Combat, especially combine combat, felt amazing. It's incredible how much less of an unstoppable tank Alyx is than Gordon. Melee combat would've been nice, but its exclusion is totally understandable given the problems it poses. Interactivity is amazing and the gravity gloves are so intuitive I found myself trying to use them in real life.

THE definitive VR game. This is the best example of a developer designing a game for VR from the ground up, and it provides an experience impossible with traditional gaming rather than simply an improved experience.
