I think it is the first time I play a game that actually shows you real time gaslighting and emotional manipulation, in several ways! I wish there were achievements for completing several meetings with the same character.

The first thing I liked about this game was the aesthetic and how the game is conceptualice to challenge common sense in video-games, like waiting so events will unlock instead of time-trials, forcing you into a slow-paced but rewarding experience.
This game isn't gamer material if you are used to mmorpgs and shooters, but those who are hardcore explorers and obsessive completers/achievers might enjoy a different thing (like what happened with Undertale, lol).

I always try earning all the Steam achievements in 'short' games and wonder why the creators wanted to offer a game with a single gameplay, with 5 possible endings, but with the complete achievements requiring one of the endings to unlock. You also need to have your computer connected to the internet to be able to play, which I highly disagree with since it forces consumers into an awkward relationship with the game and even adds an eerie element to it, hard to fully enjoy if you don't have regular access to the internet.

I'm guessing this game is inspired in modern japanese horror stories, which usually are short and let others figure out what happened without a clear conclusion to the story. Personally I don't think it works well, since in a videogame the player expects actual interaction even for a visual novel (well, especially for a visual novel). Maybe further develop the story and let the main character have some choices: make it more engaging, basically. The art and sounds are neat, tho.

Really enjoyed the story and game mechanics, very intelligent and engaging dialogues.
Would love to see more from the developers.

At some point, my eyes stopped focusing on the screen and I could only hear the gems exploding with the clicks from my mouse.
Thing is, I love hate this game, and playing with the mouse is kind of frustrating.

A Normal Lost Phone is an interactive narrative where you find an unlocked lost phone. When you start looking for the owner's info, you find yourself immersed reading the messages and unveiling their secret. The game uses an smartphone interface and have you look for some passwords among the info you already read, which is kind of cute and in general reminded me a bit of Emily is Away.

*spoilers*

The story is not particularly deep, but tries to show the experience about being a teen trans person trying to understand their circumstances and looking out for help, information and support.

I just didn't like that the ending is abrupt and could have invested a little more about the choices available to the phone's owner and not just show a way to deal with their situation, allowing for several endings and showing more possible routes for players who find themselves in a similar deal.

This is a short and touching game, it makes us consider different ways to approach the topic and to understand how easy it is to leave things unnoticed when it's about depression and suicide.

I have mixed feelings about this game. I did play during the FFVII Reactor remake-like event. Enjoyed following Cloud around and lvling my cards, getting some cool ones.
Something I really loved in particular was getting to an special area to get extra cactuar objects (I still don't really know what they are for), and while fighting Ghilgamesh (if you have played Final Fantasy before you will know this is a lore character)... it frighing had Kazuya Nakai's voice! He's know for being the voice actor for One PIece's Roronoa Zoro. I was surprised that a free mobile game would have such quality details.

This game has so many references to the Final Fantasy lore, and so many active events that is hard to get bored. Only thing that made me quit, even with such a boring main story, is that at some point it's just about grinding and it even has an autoplay, that kinda killed it for me.

Worth plating it? Yes, specially if you have been playing Final Fantasy at least since FF7 and are a sucker for battles and leveling up. Got some Steam achievements as well, that's always an extra.
Play the japanese audio, many good and famous seiyuus (voice cast) have been collaborating in this game.
