It took me a bit to get accustom to the old graphics and feel of the game--and damn the movement of the characters and camera feel rough--but once it did, I can tell why this game is regarded as a classic. I had spent all of my time doing side content and when I finally reached the Nashkel mines, I was rocking a level 6 party. The interactions with some of the NPCs are surprisingly hilarious in this game, and I enjoy the companion system quite a bit.

Still playing through the game, but I would definitely recommend. Can't wait to get to BGII and then BGIII when it comes out.
