Well, what can I say, it's an animated short. Very short. The animation itself is nicely done and quite entertaining.
The only gripe I had with this, was the loading parts really interrupting the flow of the story.

I bought it at sale at 2,39 euro a while back, but I see the normal price now is 1,59 euro which is a better price as it's really short.

It's OK for a free experience. It's very short. And you can notice it's one of the earlier VR experiences as the graphics options are non existing, and it looks very low resolution. Having Steam render it at 200% improves some, but created other problems, I think it's a shame a lot of older VR games don't have any graphics options making them more future proof for headsets with higher resolution screens. The 3D models seem to be able to handle higher resolutions and would make the experience more immersive.

There are only minor interactions, about 2 with buttons, 1 with getting the device, and the turret. And the turret handles a bit weird, but doable.

As it's free I do recommend checking it out, the models etc are quite good and really make you think you're there. Would have loved to see this experience being turned into a full game.

Lovely little puzzle game. It's not long, the 1.3 hours is really how long it took me to play it.

It looks great, the puzzles are relative easy. It's a nice game for all ages.
BUT, it's not finished, the game ends with level 5, but the story isn't over, it even shows 'to be continued'. So therefore they should have names it 'Spark of light part 1'.
But till this day there hasn't been any word on a sequel, and I doubt there will be a sequel as it seems the studio has been transformed into something else.

It says it supports the Valve Index, but for me the Index controllers didn't work, first it would only show the pointing line on the left controller, which is annoying as I'm right, but I could select the level, but I could not 'confirm' it to enter the level.
Switched to my regular Vive wands and it worked like a charm.

I bought it on sale for 1,99 euro's and that's WELL worth the money, I think it's even worth the regular 4,99 it's now.

I love the graphics again, it's minatures, and I seem to be hooked on this type of perspective.

This is the type of game that works very well in VR.
It looks very cute, it plays very well, the puzzles aren't too difficult.

There were only a couple of things that could have been improved.
The first person view should be controlled just like you control Alice, so moving should around should be using the joystick, not only forward/backward.
And once you've been in first person view, a lot of times there will be small white arrows which would direct you where the 'map' is, but even if you're looking directly at the map it still shows the arrows like it's somewhere else.
And it would benefit from some graphics settings, as it seems as it was in a lower resolution then my headset is capable of (but it still looked pretty good). Personally I don't really dabble with the SteamVR settings, as it should be ingame.

I bought it on sale at 3,29 euro's in october 2021, and I think it's well worth the price. Even at full price I think the 4,99 euro's it's now is a good price.

Hope we'll see more from this developer.

This is absolutely amazing. I love adventures, and this is so beautiful.
Most of the puzzles aren't that hard. I only had one problem with the lunch clock puzzle.

I just can't stress enough on how beautiful this is in VR.
I bought it at sale for 4,89 euro's and it was well deserved.

Looking forward to more like this from this developer.

This is a really beatyfull game and a lot of fun. The story is nice and the visuals are excellent.
The puzzles are fun and most of them not too difficult.
Shame it's ruined by a very frustrating last puzzle. Almost gave up on it, but checked for a walkthrough.
It's not a long game, but it'll give you at least a few extra playthroughs to get all the achievements.
I think it took me about 1.5 hours, as I looked up some walkthrough while having the game open.

I think I bought it in a bundle, even though I love the look, the puzzles, at this stage I would not recommend it for 15 euro's (as is the normal price), because of the short playtime and the very annoying last puzzle, I think 5-8 euro's would be a better price.

This is a very beautiful game, and lots of fun, although pretty short (playing time is including fixing a technical problem and checking one walkthrough for the final level, so actual playting time is more like 1.5 hours.
I really the graphics, the puzzles are great too (only had difficulty with the very last as I didn't check the hat.
I bought it when it was on sale for 3,49 euro's and I think that's certainly a price it deserves, I would even suggest it being on sale at 5-6 euro's to be a very nice price.

Only technical problem I had was that it kept spinning without me doing anything, but it was due to my 3Dconnection software (for my space mouse pro) running in the back that made it keep spinning. And others have the same problem when their joystick with rudder is connected.

I highly recommend this game, I hope they have more like these.

One thing I can say, it looks absolutely gorgeous.
The 'puzzles' are all the same for each level, but especially when you have 'connected the dots' it's not clear what you had to do, I thought you had to toggle the strings in a certain order, before I found out through the forum you had to position the strings (by rotating the whole contraption) to a certain position.
Also in the diorama world itself it's just putting as much junk on the floor/water and give it some color and that's about it.
Also it seems to disable the visible safety boundary, which is not good.

I bought the game in sale for 1,49 euro, if you can get it for anything below 5 euro's you should certainly buy it. For me the 14,99 euro pricetag it is at the time of writing is just too much.
Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful game, but I wished they had created some different puzzles.

hmmmm. for me it was Ok. Certainly not the best escape room, but also not the worst.
There are two rounds in the same room.
The first round is pretty easy if you found all the fuses, but I had trouble locating the red fuse as it was IMHO out of the VR 'boundary' of the room to actually be able to get it, and I had to restart the game as the letter with the code for the second vault just vanished after I dropped it.
The second round only made sense if you actually got the 'yellow' cube and knew what it meant, but IMHO there were just too many possibilities and with that I didn't like it, that one should have had a simpel primer before needing to use it to the fullest.
Also I don't like endings where I really have to exit the game through the steam 'exit game'. There should have been an option to quit the game or go back to the main screen, with a quit button there.
I give it a 6 out of 10.

I think I got it at a sale for 2,17 euro and I think that's just enough..
I hope he learned from this first game, so I'm looking forward to playing the VR Vacate the Room 2.
I'll select 'Recommend: YES' as I think 'Recommend: NO' would be too harsh.
