I am very sad to say that I am not a fan of this game. At all.
As someone who has logged about 1k hours into World, and a couple of hundred into Rise, I am severely disappointed in Wilds. I have been so excited for this game for so long, but it's just way too easy. There's no prep, no tracking, no challenge. Never have I ever had this much ease in a Monster Hunter game.
I initially enjoyed alot of the changes, but they have honestly become the biggest flop for me. The fact that i can just stagger-lock a monster and never get hit is just depressing. Where is the challenge? Where is the difficulty? When I run into an apex, I expect to get knocked over, but they were all way too easy. No faints, barely ever got hit, didn't have to learn their moveset, nothing.
I will continue playing it for a while, but if they don't do something about the ease of this game soon, they lose a fan. I'd rather keep playing World over and over again than boot this up only to get disappointed all over again.

(As a side-note, I started World fresh again recently, and I have died more in low-rank there than I have total in Wilds.)
