Very good game. I learned about this new technology the US Army made, it allows you to spontaneously teleport to arbitrary places near you without your control or consent. Or it's lag. Idk could be either one. I had 10 ping though. Either way #metoo I got teleported without my consent.

Fallout: New Vegas is by far one of the best Fallout games created. It was the last Fallout game that was forged from the minds of Obsidian developers, and not some ♥♥♥♥♥ at Bethesda. If you don't have time to read the whole review, or you just don't want to, here are some general ratings:

Combat: 8.5/10
Main Story: 9/10
Side Story: 8.5/10
Graphics: 8 for vanilla, 10 with mods
Player Freedom: 10/10

The full review:

Combat:

Fallout: New Vegas features the V.A.T.S(Vats) combat mechanic. Introduced in Fallout 3, Vats allows casual players to engage in combat scenarios with a more turn based approached. Vats freezes time, allowing the player to select a target and a limb on their body, and Vats will automatically target the target and their limb. This mechanic allows the player to focus more on the RPG elements of Fallout: New Vegas and makes combat simple and relaxing for casual players. If you aren't a casual player and you are looking for some action, Fallout: New Vegas's real time combat system is smooth, responsive, and holds up to modern standards.

Main Story:

To sum up Fallout: New Vegas' story in a few words without spoiling it, I would have say "fun for a few playthroughs." There are 3 independent quest lines that can not be completed at once. Each main quest line requires you to have a fresh playthrough. Each quest lines provide unique experiences, encounters, and stories. Although quite interesting and immersive, the main story line lacks replayability after completing all 3 main story routes, thus being fun for a few playthroughs. After you have completed all questlines, have no fear, side quests are here!

Side Story:

Most NPCs and locations have their own unique characteristics and stories. You can discover these stories by freely exploring the world and doing in depth side quests. Each side quest is unique, telling a new tale with new characters and new locations. In some ways, the side quests are better than the main quests! There are a large abundance of side quests in Fallout: New Vegas, and most of them are very interesting to explore!

Graphics:

The graphics are pretty good in the vanilla game, but the real graphical gems come with mods. There are thousands of good graphics mods, many of which bring the game to life and make you fell like the objects in the screen are escaping their 2D homes and stretching into a new, 3rd, dimension. Plenty of grpahics mods can make your game go from looking okay or pretty good to making it beautiful.

Player Freedom:

There's not much to say here but this: You are free in Fallout: New Vegas. You can choose your own path, use your preferred items, design your desired appearance, and shape your character to who you want them to be.

TL:DR:

Combat: 8.5/10
Main Story: 9/10
Side Story: 8.5/10
Graphics: 8 for vanilla, 10 with mods
Player Freedom: 10/10

Overall: 44-46/50

Great game, but I wish they added the ability for players to create their own content, because they few maps in the game can be limiting.

Edit: They added the ability for players to create their own content. The game have finally achieved greatness.
