I do not roleplay. Do not add me for that.
Information about the Stallion
If you add me exclusively for Roleplay, prepare to be disappointed. I am on Steam to game, not tab out every few seconds to respond to messages. Furthermore, I do not roleplay, period.

I love getting jester awards from corporate simps and butthurt crybabies that can't or refuse to think critically about predatory and lazy game dev practices. Free steam points for me to buy more useless stickers, so thanks!

I will be reducing my presence in the Steam forums for a few reasons. Mainly, everyone in those forums is always there merely to make awful arguments and then hurl insults. I have received my first ever community punishment recently due to these kinds of low IQ individuals being incredibly petty and reporting my replies.

It seems Steam allows a 2 tiered justice system in which others are allowed to say awful, nasty things about me. But the moment I say one thing in kind, I get banned. Totally fair and balanced, as all things are.

To those people petty and childish enough to use the report feature to "get back" at me destroying your stupid arguments, thanks for proving that you have no legs to stand on in debate.

Things have largely changed for me over the past several years. I'm a lot more mellowed out than I once was, though I won't be able to forgive a lot of people who once treated me like all their problems were because of me.

If you ask people what they think of me, you'll get a myriad of answers. Many will say I'm a terrible person. Some will say I'm wonderful.
I treat people accordingly. Those that say I'm awful, you should wonder just how they treated me to deserve that kind of response.
Those that say I'm kind and compassionate, they took the time and effort to get to know me as a person rather than a sex toy.

Edit: This game is awful. The hit registration is absolutely horrid, and it always seems to favor the enemies 100% of the time.
Devs can't keep their game consistent. Waste of money.

Edit 2 Electric Boogaloo: Hackers everywhere, game is unplayable now because the Chinese run rampant with their multitude of hacks.
But remember folks, you're "xenophobic" for wanting to keep the overwhelmingly Asian hackers out of your lobbies.
Bluehole can get rammed in the hole. I'll never buy another product of theirs as long as I live. Up yours, you sanctimonious dev pricks.

A buddy of mine bought the game for me, and for a while it was good and fun...despite the awful hit registration.

Fast paced, easy to get in and out of a game. Excellent fun to play with friends, and teamwork can provide miracles.

The game can be insanely fun If you don't mind a little bit of shameless self promotion to help prove my point

However, "this game has potential" is always thrown around ad nauseum with early access games, and it needs to stop.

I feel that PUBG has peaked. It skyrocketed in popularity, and the developers realized just how big of a cash cow it could be.

So they fostered the hype by partnering with streamers, which as you may very well have heard has had disasterous results in the form of whiny streamers complaining to the devs about "stream sniping" to get the player banned with no proof provided.

This is a judge, jury, and executioner mentality that shouldn't exist in the first place, as it's not the dev's place to punish for streamers giving their opponents an advantage over them willingly. And that's assuming you even KNOW if you're in a game with a streamer in the first place, considering how the game randomly throws 100 people in together. Keyword RANDOMLY.

Speaking of keys, despite making over 150million USD$ in 4 months, and despite promises of no microtransactions during early access, they did it anyway in the form of paying for keys to unlock loot crates. Guess that 150mil is already spent on a golden yacht with hookers and buckets of blow?
A dev that lies to their customers is a dev that doesn't respect the customers.

Furthermore, there has been more outrage over teamkillers getting banned.
You put teamkilling in the game. Yet you will punish for it happening. Even if it's in self defence from a teamkilling griefer.
Priorities.

Speaking of ridiculous and laughable practices, even MORE streamer banning happening when they added horns to the vehicles, as "stream honking" suddenly became a "harassment" issue out of nowhere.
Again, you'd have to have ESP to know you're in the game with a streamer in the first place.

Plus forum bannings. Immediate, non-reversible forum bannings. For just sneezing wrong.

I could go on with further outright bullsh*t tactics used by the developers, but I think you're starting to get the point by now that they're invested in their own wallets, not in bringing a wonderful product to the market.

This is why they've gone from overwhelmingly positive reviews, to mixed in a VERY short amount of time.

I only hope the game will die a relatively quick death so the Devs will be forced to take notice of their failures and not be so arrogant and disrespectful towards their consumers.

Don't pay them any money. If you already have the game, you know how fun it can be. But I say don't pay them their asking price. Wait for it to go on sale, or purchase it for cheap from subsidiary sites.
If they don't respect the consumer, the consumer should stick it to them where it hurts: Their wallet.

And now I can't do anything but sing this stupid song

Honestly, there's lots wrong with it. There are hundreds of reasons why people can't play for a prolonged time period and all are legit. My own reason is just that I don't want to be bullied to start up a game every few weeks even if I'm in no mood to play. I won't fake generate playerstats for them to make the game look more alive than it might actually is. It's a shame really, the dev blog video had me hooked, but this water nonsense kept me away. If they want to have players that feel "anxious" about getting ♥♥♥♥ done, they're better off in the mobile game market.

I can believe it, it's a studio destroying decision on an otherwise really neat game that, for some reason, seems to be the hill several people have decided to die on, possibly including the devs thsemselves. Why a group of developers that claimed to hate modern gaming practices would even conceive of such a wet fart of a system is beyond me.

Ah jeez, I didn't expect the Water timer discussion to bleed into folk's comment sections.

Same! But yikes, what an ordeal.

I've never seen people so determined to get screwed by scummy devs. The fanbase is an *actual* cult. If an obvious issue like the real time decay have them this up in arms, I don't see how they'd allow *any* sort of changes. The game is dead as far as I'm concerned.
