As someone who is absolutely autistic about the weather (read: special interest since childhood), this game's tech is incredibly impressive. From a meteorological standpoint, the fact that every scenario in game is based on real weather events means that I can use my own knowledge of radar, CAPE and velocity displays to track the storms in real time, with my own knowledge of how real life systems tend to work. This is incredibly neat!
On launch, matchmaking was a mess and performance was rather lacking. A week after launch, with some patches, I cannot fault the matchmaking system since being fixed. The performance is still shaky, and requires some tweaking of settings to be able to run smoothly; I have an RTX 4060 and manage to run without too many issues aside from the lagging upon loading areas; this can send your vehicle off the road, which is a pain.
The price point is too steep for what the game is at this point, in my opinion, but I paid because I've been following this game's development for YEARS and I truly want to see it reach its full potential.

TLDR: The game is fun, scenarios being based on real data is satisfying, but performance does ruin the enjoyment at SOME points.

I reccommend the game. That's not the problem here. The problem is that you need a ton of accounts to even launch the game, and once you get past that, you're hit with what you think is the loading screen. You'd be right in assuming this. You wait for the opening screen to end. It's taking a little longer than expected. You wait a bit longer. It's still not ending. Many hours later and the game still wants you to look at that damn opening screen until you go insane.

TLDR; the game doesn't work.
