A very cool genre hybrid strategy game that I've only BEGAN to scratch the surface of.

Forced upscaling that can't be turned off and "native resolution" option that lies to you results in insane blurring when turning the camera that literally makes the game unplayable for me. Sadly seems to be becoming the norm. Disappointing, as the actual game beneath that seems really cool.

Will update review if it's patched or user workarounds are found.

Game is great, New Beginning update seems great. That said, I worry about the future of the game if the devs are listening to the ravening hordes of children that don't even try an update out for themselves before raging out. The update is a few days old, it's too new for proper evaluations and reverting updates based on feedback. Putting the previous version in a separate branch isn't the worst idea, there'll always be people who want to experience things as they were rather than adjust to as they are now, but catering to those people leads to outcomes that aren't favorable to anyone. I've watched a half dozen promising indie games die to overreacting to negative feedback, PLEASE don't let this be another one of them.

A very compelling and enjoyable game! The less you know going in, the better.

A very promising asymmetric multiplayer game, but deeply compromised by the developer receiving no support from Capcom (it took months for them to even get the approval to RELEASE PATCH NOTES). For this game to succeed long term, it needed a option to purchase it standalone--most people don't want to pay an extra $30 for a poorly reviewed single player game they have no interest in playing. Needless to say, that didn't happen.

If you're a discerning and patient fellow that enjoys ZM style asymmetric multiplayer, there is a lot to like here despite the frustrations. If you aren't patient, stay away. FAR AWAY.

Fun game but the polish and quality control just isn't there. Patches will randomly break things or (further) kill performance on specific hardware profiles. Check it out if you're super patient and willing to endure bouts of frustration, otherwise stay away.
