Essentially it's a Sci-Fi Soulslike game with some similarities but not quite the quality of the original Dark Souls.
Would recommend to gamers who liked Darksouls and want more in the same genre.
Needs a minimum of 2 playthroughs to get the 100%, keeping in mind you make sure to look out for missables.

Pros :
  • Open Level design, unlocking shortcuts to older parts while exploring
  • Fun Fighting system that has some weight behind the heavy weapons you use, but still feels fast enough due to the mobility of your exo-suite
  • Intuitive Drop system, giving you always exactly what you are aiming for, eliminating RNG
  • Risk rewarding Leveling, getting a higher multiplier the more enemies you kill before going back to a checkpoint
  • Easy to use Crafting and Gear system, even if its a bit barebone
  • Boss fights are refreshingly different to normal enemy encounters, with one being a really well designed fight not only by the standard of the game.

Cons :
  • Repetitive encounters since most enemy types are very similar in moveset, size, weakpoints
  • Limited selection of weapons, functionally only 5 different weapon classes with very similar animations
  • Very generic, predictable story. Especially the in-world stuff like TVs running in the background can get repetitive since you hear them every time you visit the area.
  • Easy to get lost in the sometimes maze like world since most is grey factory corridors, vents, hallways, etc.
  • Unengaging NPC subquestlines, mostly very short one task stuff
  • Even though the rig customization is nice most builds aren't viable to play, mostly because of the huge damage output of even the smallest enemies, making health and stamina the most valuable resources to upgrade.

Miscellaneous
  • Recommended to play it with a controller due to the strange but easy to get used to controls, in particular locking on to a specific body part
  • Having a timer every time you die in which you have to get your lost scrap (souls) back can get quite stressful and lead to more deaths
  • Some easy missable achievements due to stage specific events like NPC questlines and collectibles
