I've been obsessed with this game ever since it came out! I love the vibe, art style and story so much.
This is one of those games that you need to play as blind as possible for the best experience!

I never thought I'd love a game where you play as an anxious Italian man who runs fast but here I am

I'm obsessed with literally every aspect of this game, the art and animation are so cartoony and fun, the soundtrack is filled with bangers and the gameplay is amazing! If you like 2D platformers I absolutely recommend getting this game.

Genuinely one of the funniest games I've ever played, I've had several laughing fits with the friend I'm playing it with. Like west of loathing, this game has really good writing! It's a funny stickman game but it still manages to do cosmic horror really well.

If you're a fan of west of loathing and/or have been considering getting this game I can 100% recommend it!

Also there's a lesbian with a gun, so it's an instant win from me lol

Everything about this game is amazing, I love the art style, the music, the story, the characters, the gameplay, all of it!
As someone who didn't play the first game, I found it very easy to pick up and just start playing :) I even got 100% completion in the end! I whole heartedly recommend it.
It deserves game of the year imo!

I'm not the best with writing long, meaningful and detailed reviews so I'll keep this short and sweet.

This game makes me feel incredible. When I first played, I couldn't even beat the first boss and I got so frustrated but the game made me want to keep trying. So I did, and now I've beat the game 112%! Even though it was difficult at first, the amazing art style, music, story and controls made me keep playing!
One of the best feelings in this game is seeing how much you've improved, it's awesome!

Where to begin? Man, I could write a whole ass essay about this game, but I'll spare you all and just list some pros and cons! Spoilers below!

Cons:
- God just... The entire ace attorney trial. That was a nightmare. It was so drawn out and kind of pointless? especially since the game doesn't tell you, that you need to keep your items to trade with tagora for the right information. Again, you have no way of knowing this, yet the game scolds you for not doing it right. It's extremely disappointing and frustrating to be chewed out by the game for something you weren't even aware of, let alone able to do anything about. Another point is, that information that is necessary to proceed is held from you and only when the plot calls for it, do characters actually give you the information. Such as one ponit where you're literally just supposed to present wrong evidence (because you don't have any proof) until one of the characters gives you the info you need to continue.
- A general problem my friend and I found while playing, is that at times, you find yourself trying everything on everything, because the game doesn't communictae how you should proceed. We had to look up a walkthrough to get past some of it. Clicking everything randomly kind of takes away from the experience.
- Maybe highlighting the items you can interact with and every character you can talk to would be a good idea? Because it is extremely easy to miss areas, since some of the things you can check aren't that obvious.
- Didn't let us hold Elwurd's hand (my friend was very upset about this)

Now onto the positives!
Pros:
- THE CHARACTERS!! God, this game has some amazing characters, they were what kept us playing through the ace attorney trial. It's so much fun to go back and talk to the characters, even as you progress further, you really want to get to know them.
- The art!! It's all so well done! I kept stopping and admiring different details in the background and the other background characters, there was so much going on and so much to look at! I'm very pleased with the visual design of this game.
- The music!! Another thing that kept me going during some of the more... "difficult" parts of the game where I had to walk back and forth, the music really helped with the atmosphere, and I will probably be buying the soundtrack.
- The animation! Just... Wow the character animation! Very big fan! :D

So overall, this game is great! I definitely recommend it, if you're willing to sit through the trial part. I've been a fan of hiveswap (ex-homestuck fan here, oof) since the first game came out years ago and I've been excited ever since! I will say, the game does not disappoint, again the biggest criticism is the trial and the persistent issue from the first act, being that you often can get lost in what to do. The final puzzle is a good example of just clicking random ♥♥♥♥ until something works, this time having the penalty of starting over all the way.
There is definitely some place to improve, but if this sounds like your cup of tea, then I think you should support these creators and buy the game! :)

Minecraft story mode was a great experience, some might not like it, and I could see why, but I found it fun. It's hard to describe, but something about the characters and how the creators took a game without much lore and created all of this from it just impresses me! The action scenes that required button spamming weren't that fun, but I can look past those parts, because I genuinely think the story itself is well made!
