It is lacking at the moment. Didn't particularly liked the handling and optimization (typical UE5 issue).
I can see its potential, it just doesn't worth it at this price for me. I wish to see better grip handling and better wheel implementation, FFB just feels off most of the time. But drifting is still appealing and this might be the key aspect for some people.

Game is great! I'd love to revisit it some time soon

But if you're a fan of the series, have some spare money for cheaper version and have hopes for this game - buy it, its a good refreshment in the racing games genre. I really really hope this game shine some day.

Good parts - its still a pleasant cruising experience, like it always was. It has no festival bullsh*t all over map. Cars are very good detailed. Handling is arcadey but mostly fair and predictable and often enjoyable (TDU1 is still the best).

Graphics is stylistically good (not technically). The game CAN look very pretty. I especially like it at night or in rain or when its foggy.

However - there are huge problems as well.
1) Notorious server problem, which were not existent to me since launch on 12th September.
2) Performance is VERY VERY bad. And FSR implementation works awful. (Cockpit view is unplayable with it).
3) Lack of camera settings.
4) Wheel support is weird for my Thrustmaster. It has bad effects and rotation is all messed up, forcing me to play with 360 degree of rotation.
5) Very lacking cars choice
6) Lack of driving missions, nothing to do aside from racing or cruising. I want car delivery missions with good prices
7) Economy is weird, cars worth a lot while payouts are very small. It may be a good move in the long run, making a car buying a pleasant experience. Only if there was no meta in this game, but there is a cars which can work for races and many totally useless options along side.

Игра неоднозначная. Не для всех уж точно.
Но, это максимально близко похоже на опыт из NFS Underground 1 и 2 из детства и однозначно стоит, чтобы ее попробовали все любители машин, гонок и дрифта.
Игра не без недостатков, но со дня выхода, на данный момент вышло уже три обновления и каждый раз становится лучше и приятнее играть. Надеюсь разработчики так и продолжать отлаживать игру. Очень хотелось бы оптимизацию нормальную. С такой графикой игра работает ЗНАЧИТЕЛЬНО хуже чем давняя Forza Horizon 5.
В остальном претензий особо уже не осталось с тех пор как поправили экономику и агрессивных соперников. Они все еще рельсовые, но по крайней мере не приходится уклоняться от них за пол улицы.

На руле играется отлично, но дрифтить пока не получается. Либо руль не тот, либо настройки, но это однозначно возможно. На геймпаде так же играть очень приятно.

It was a pleasure walking through this game! its shooting parts is not when it shines, but aside from that - the game is great!
And it plays incredibly good nowadays. Complete in on Steam Deck and had a blast!

I didn't liked the experience. Its very dark on the underground levels and movement feels very ad and floaty (Compared to the original). Bad optimization and dialogues also barely can be heard, like in the original. Graphics is fine though, especially for those who cant like the orignial anymore. Nevertheless, for the price - this is a good game. I just can't recommend it.

Changed my mind after recent updates. Not only it works much better than when first LSFG was introduced, but also the x3 mode finally letting me use full potential of my 120 hz glasses! It works with native games and with cloud gaming too which just looks like miracle!
This clearly need some tweaking both with PC and with program, but its totally worth it! It worth it so much that I even use this now instead of all frame gen mods out there and I'm excited to see where this program will come eventually!

It is a very good NFS game!
I love its style and race feel. Car customization is kinda same like previous chapters but thats okay, ut least they are authentic
Story is cringe but everyone knows that, its somewhat a tradition nowadays, but whatever :)

Не советую покупать. В плане ежедневного пользования - гораздо хуже чем предыдущая версия. По беспроводу от эмуляции мало толку. Лучше пользоваться прошлой версией и кастом профилями + ввод стииа.
- Все еще нет гироскопа
- Тач в мышь не работает
- Настройки профиля (курки и хаптик) слетают при подключении по кабелю

Странная игра. Она понравилась мне на 49%. Сюжет нормальный, перестрелки бывают интересные (когда не заставляют ползать на жопе весь уровень).
Все впечатление убивают кривые механики и их нагромождение, а так же абсолютно тупые и скучные развалины в "открытом" мире. Мир тут НЕ открытый, тут широкие кишки, в которых разрешают перемещаться по заданным разработчиками границам. Если ты видишь путь к цели и кажется что ты умный и что ты можешь как-то обойти преграду - то нет, тебя встретят невидимые стены в тесном соседстве с непродуманным левел дизайном.

Когда игра встает на ЖЕСТКИЕ рельсы - это хороший шутер на 7-8 из 10.
Сюжет мега простой, работает лишь привязанность к персонажам из-за длины серии. Но он работает, если идти строго по сюжету, но к сожалению тогда вы столкнетесь с послдестсвиями "нелинейного сюжета"
Вся эта "нелинейность" и последствия выбора которые влияют лишь на результат : хорошая/плохая концовка - это вообще было лишним.

Однако, даже с учетом вышесказанного - я не могу сказать, что игра мне не понравилось. Просто в ней слишком много НО, к сожалению.
