WEG continues to keep the genre alive and strong with another beautifully written point-and-click. Old Skies explores the practical and emotional implications of time-travel-for-hire through thoughtful arcs and clever time-loop puzzles. Highly recommended for point-and-click fans, and an absolute must for fans of the Blackwell series.

Login issues and paranoid captchas reduce this to "Clicking On Fire Hydrants And Buses Simulator".

The devs understood the assignment. Atmosphere is thick, then it gets thicker, and thicker, and thicker, and thicker. As someone who played the first four in their day, this is hands-down the scariest, most engaging Silent Hill, and it absolutely nails the complex vibe of SH2. I can't praise it enough.

I'm getting somewhat toward the end, and as long as it doesn't pull out time ghosts and James deciding to open portals to leap over Brookhaven to fight the fate gods and "alternate timelines" where Eddie is a well-adjusted Olympic athlete, it's guaranteed my GOTY and an all time top 10 spot, if not top 5.

Ridiculously good. It's harder than Portal 2 so it scratches "the itch". Great puzzles, great visuals, thoughtful Aperturey environmental lore, even very good voice acting, and not short of dialogue. Plenty interesting set pieces, which don't quite match Portal 2's polish, but polished it is, and its environments tend to meet and surpass Portal 2's.. Highly outstanding.

Limit fast travel and use Auto-Horsie to get around and ponder life while you watch the forests and towns roll by. Strongest AC writing to date, though perhaps not the most interesting setting. Probably the best acting too, overall, but there's still been some share of that distracting Saturday morning cartoon vibe.
