I don't like sand... It's coarse and rough and irritating... and it gets everywhere.

What can I say? It's Bloons, it's online, it's free, and it's on PC.

Recommended

I hate to not recommend a LEGO game, but it really was a huge let down when we were promised TBOTFA as free DLC, and didn't even get that. It's like TT just sorta gave up on it after release (which can also be seen in LEGO Worlds as well).

The game that is here is really fun, but it just feels so unfinished. It's highly unlikely we'll ever even see a paid TBOTFA expansion.

Only LEGO game I've ever not recommended, due to the lack of an entire 1/3 of the story

Great space survival game.

Pros
-Thorough crafting system
-Decent enough NPCs (unlike other space sims which have none)
-All kinds of Alien creatures
-Alien plants -LOTS of them (I personally like to see a wide variety of flora in survival games)
-Great ground combat
-The fact that there IS ground combat, unlike other space sims *cough* Elite: Dangerous
-Fun and decent flying

Cons
-As with most space sims/survival games, there is a learning curve
-Complex systems can be hard to master at first
-Few minor bugs¹
-You can't travel to a planets poles??? (like it's off limits, super weird)
-Some grinding (if you consider it a con)


First of all, this isn't an RPG. If you come into it thinking that it is, you will be sorely dissapointed. I just don't get why so many people play space sims and then give them bad reviews for lack of RPG elements. GUYS. IT'S A SPACE SIMULATOR, NOT AN RPG. There's no predefined story, that's why it's a sandbox. The "missions" are quite minimal (more like achievements really). Something that many people have forgotten about sandbox games is that you have to use your imagination a bit. It's only going to be as fun as you make it.

That being said, a great surprise to me was the fact that, unlike other sandboxes, Empyrion isn't just a giant empty world. There are other people. There are aliens. There are security robots, who are super fun to mess with btw. There are weird animals and dinosaur thingys (take that, ARK). There are outposts and labs. There are stations orbiting the planet. It's just really fun. No, there's no predefined narrative, but Empyrion doesn't just dump you in an empty wasteland.

The fact that it has an economy system, albeit a bit crude, is a great incentive for me. It's great that you can trade or buy things from vendors. I also like the fact that, since it is a sandbox, you can build a base a have a nice place to come home to after exploring or grinding.

The combat is nice, there are multiple weapons ranging from common pistols to advanced laser rifles. NPCs are fairly smart when it comes to combat, and depending on who you're messing with, they can be quite lethal. Damage feels balanced (ie, you don't have to empty 3 mags to kill a tiny animal). It's always fun to fly up to a station, start a fight and then try to escape.

Overall, Empyrion is a fun Survival game. It balances Space Sim with Survival Sandbox in a really unique way. I highly recommend it.

The Game: A fun and very entertaining RPG! Great soundtrack, intriguing characters, funny story. 10/10

The Fanbase: All it takes is one search for "Undertale Fanart" and you'll see why this fanbase is the worst around. So scarring...

Summary: Undertale is a great game! Just play it and enjoy it and don't tell anyone that you play it!

Based on content, yes I recommend it, I like the extra paint jobs.
But seriously, that's all it is. Not really worth $12.

TL;DR: Castle Crashers is an immensly fun sidescroller. Great artwork, great music, great with friends. Just buy it already.

Castle Crashers is by far, my favorite side scrolling action game. PERFECT for playing with friends, this game is easily in my top 3 best games to play with others. It's just great classic beat-em-up style fun. It can be challenging at times, but never really too hard.

You're a knight. An evil wizard steals the princess(es). You get 'em back.

You fight droves of enemies, using your sword, your magic, and your wits. You collect little pets to help you out (example, the Bitey Bat will attack your enemies, Seahorse will raise your chances of finding great items). You fight for glory in the arena.

-Multiple game modes
-Fun, exciting gameplay
-Great artwork
-Nice soundtrack
-TRADING CARDS AND (therefore) BADGES
-5+ characters to choose from
-Arenas, for beating the living daylight out of your friends
-Lots of swords
-Companion animals, to give you special perks on your quests
-No bugs that I've encountered

After honestly considering it, I don't think I can find a single con for this game. Yeah, I'm totally biased, but I love this game. Give it a try, and see if you agree. Definitely worth the price.
