The gameplay loop is very satisfying and there's still a lot to achieve as there are so many units to build. I like the randomness as it keeps the rounds fresh, even if you don't get what you want. It's still in development but feels like a polished game, so I expect only more content to come but I'm already satisfied with what exists too.

Amazing. Went in blind, had a ton of fun. Would highly recommend to fans of murder mysteries, puzzles or adventure games. I had to crack out the pen and paper to make notes. Just shy of 10 hours to complete. You won't be disappointed.

Epic indie that will go on the shelves besides Undertale, FNAF, Doki Doki Literature Club. Get in on the ground floor before the fanbase or creator suck the precious charm out of it. Especially if you like deck builders!

Love the game! I played 8 hours the first day I bought it. Now it's a great game to do 1 run after work.

The reason a life cycle goes so quickly is because it's a clone of the game Chinese Parents, which is about doing better each generation. So it's more about your legacy than your 1 life. There's so many possibilities that it works.

This isn't a survival game clone with a viking skin. I ignored this game at first because I figured it was like Ark and Rust and such. It's not! It's a survival game technically, but it's thoughtful and relaxing, while still being very challenging. You're never rushed, so you can spend a whole day in your hut watching rain if you want to. Your motivations are your own. Each new biome and boss is a gradual process of you learning the dangers and testing the boundaries of what you can do this time. Building your house(s) is incredibly rewarding and it feels like you're actually in the woods building a cabin log by log.

What immediately set this game apart for me: you need a fire to sleep at night, but if it's windy or rainy your fire needs shelter. But you can't put it into your house, because fires generate smoke and you'll die from inhalation. You MUST intelligently design your house. You will figure it out, and you will be proud of yourself.

Will scratch your itch for Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. You really do feel dropped into a fleshed out world, catchy bops in the club, emo vibes, factions, social commentary... Like VtMB, it had a rocky launch but it still charms the pants off of you. If you go in with no expectations, it's jaw-droppingly fantastic. Many expected too much from the game, in the same way I will likely never see another immersive cult classic like VtMB again. Because it would need THIS level of quality to really earn it's place as the next cult epic. Some stuff is problematic and I would be the first to tell you that. But overall? This game, for me, is a winner. Give it a chance.

I was skeptical, but this is a legit sequel. I heard about the changes and was afraid it would be too different of a game. I've been happily playing for a while now. Yes, there are differences, but you'll be surprised by how much they kept and eventually you will see that the changes they made had the player experience in mind. It's only now that I realized the things I didn't like about the first game being polished out of its sequel.

Yes, it looks like a mobile game with the VN cutscenes and drawn-out fetch quests. You get used to it. I was particularly disturbed by the loot missions that took several steps to acquire unlike the original, where you just had to meet a certain minion quota. The minions are consumed now, but you don't need a teacher anymore. Does it make the higher-level minions less special? Yes. But you won't have the stress, heartache or wasted hours trying to get them back.

I like finding the agents instead of being constantly told there's an intruder. I like that they can disguise themselves. It's like a mini-game. My least favorite part of the original was the constant agents and super-agents. I now have control over these encounters.

And can we talk about the new bases!? I love having 3 islands to choose from with different tiers of rock to mine through. I love the variety of super villains and how their inner sanctum reflects them specifically. Couple of the voice actors weren't amazing though.

But big picture... Get it. It's legit. Don't go in with rose-colored glasses because honestly the first game did have plenty to improve upon.

This is a COMEDY game for Final Fantasy fans. I think people were going into it like it was a serious game. It's not. It's meant to be funny and ridiculous. The descriptions for the monsters you collect are hilarious and meant for the generation that grew up with them. There is no real logic to what FF chars or set pieces you will find, and that's what makes it exciting. Who are you going meet next? Where are they taking you? When will you see your favorites? Omg that coeurl is so cute and my chocobo just leveled up and now Yuna is here??

And if you didn't play EVERY Final Fantasy, which is rare you have to admit, you'll get a decent puzzle game with pokemon battles. I like how summons are handled, I like that it's not super easy like a kids game (like actual Pokemon), I like the variety ... It's just fun with a side of nostalgia.
