Few years later:
- Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Nvidia RTX 4090.
- 64 GB DDR5 RAM.

Game still suffers from ridiculous freezes, capped at 60 fps, no support for widescreen unless using an external tool... Unacceptable for 2024.

It's a fun game, extremely addicting gameplay, beautiful world design, etc. But I cannot recommend it in its current state.

I get huge drops from ~50 to 5-10 fps no matter what quality settings I have. I've tried all the workarounds and potential fixes mentioned by people in the forums, reddits, guides, etc. but absolutely none of them made a difference for me. That's why I cannot recommend the game at this point, since any of you could also experience the same problems as I. Once it's fixed and I can keep playing the game, I'll change (or at least remove) this review.

My Specs:
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.
- CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K.
- RAM: 16 GB.
- OS: Windows 11.

I made a video of random gameplay in an area where it becomes specially bad:
https://youtu.be/vb4H4UeV9-A

I had 2 main moments of stuttering: when it froze for a sec while I was going uphill to fight the group of enemies (during the fight it was surprisingly stable) and when I returned to the shack area. It tends to happen mostly when looking in a certain direction or walking in a certain area. My FPS go from ~45-50 to ~7-10 and becomes unplayable. Happens with bosses sometimes too and many times I die just because the game decides to freeze for 2 seconds.

18k people queue, can't create any character nor play, and therefore cannot recommend it.

Yet another failed launch by Amazon who keep doing terrible estimations for the amount of servers they need on launch.

Awesome game, don't let its style and interface deceive you.

The game starts pretty simple on your first few runs. There's little stuff available and this makes it more manageable and helps you get grips with the game. As you start doing more runs, buying more upgrades for your camp, going deeper into the game, new options and strategies become available to you. When you think you know everything, a new upgrade gets you some new cards you can add to your deck and change gameplay dramatically.

Before you realize, you'll find yourself trying to find the best combos on the game's wiki and you can start experimenting and finding your play style.
