The mechanics are great, each run is clearly different and exciting, as you find new combos and new cards. The way MegaCrit shakes things up with each character and relic feels truly fresh.

That said, it's one damn ugly game. It's not even about the style, it's just bad art. Enemies are unimaginative or their design feels lazy, VFX are very basic and uninspired. Overall, it feels visually very poor. The design saves it, though. Can't wait for a Slay the Spire 2 with proper art direction and execution!

Out of Line is a great, beautiful and emotional platform adventure. The story pushes you in and asks you to interpret it without too much handholding while completely avoiding text. A practical example of "show, don't tell", and it does it brilliantly. It's the type of game you'll most probably want to replay soon after you finish it the first time, as you'll want to completely piece together the puzzle that is the story itself.

Speaking of puzzles, they're not super hard, but are varied, creative and scale elegantly as you progress the story. The graphic style is very painterly and beautiful and the animation is fantastic. If you're looking for a game that you can complete in an Sunday afternoon while chilling, this is it!

I went in without many expectations, played the first Witcher briefly and it did not click for me at all, so I wasn't super excited for this.

But it turned out to be one of my favorite games of all time. I don't say this often.

The way CD Projekt Red built the world and the characters inside it and their stories is so fresh when compared to any other Medieval Fantasy RPG out there that its just ridiculous. The way you can aproach situations and events is so very well designed, the atmosphere is so well crafted, the regions, their people and culture so destinct. Quests throw away the black or white decision and explore the much more interesting and morally questionable tones of gray in between, in non predictable ways, which is one of the things that make The Witcher 3 so good. These decisions and its concequences kept me thinking about the game throughout the day and made me think about life situations I haven't thought about before. I love when a game does this, this is real art. The combat is not the best in the genre, but you'll be so compeled to figure out what's behind that hill, on the top of that mountain, inside that hut or cave or how that quest unfolds that you won't mind the combat that much. Even if, like me, you're not a huge RPG fan, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it.

I wasn't even half-way through the main quest when I decided to buy both expansions and absolutely recommend them as well. Worth every cent and more.

I'm spoiled now, though. Every other RPG from now on will feel soulless and boring.

Thank you, CD Projekt Red.

Fast, dirty, brutal action packed with hot visuals and music. Crude fun.
