I'm not an ARPG guy but I like this one so that speaks for itself.

Like Left For Dead except with distinct classes that all have different melee/ranged weapons for different playstyles. There is also gear which increases replayability. Melee combat is more complex than L4D with blocking/stamina/shoving/dodging, instead of mindless slashing. Exploration is rewarded and the objective location is usually not displayed so you have to find it.
There is AI but don't pick this up unless you have a friend who is also getting it, it is intended to be played with other people.

I played through this on my Xbox 360 when this came out. I decided get it again and play it through on PC. I would recommend this to anyone even if they are not into FPS. It is like a Shooter RPG blend with lots of weapons, there is also a melee based character so there are a lot of different playstyles.

Strongest feature in this game is the humour for me.
Worst Con for me would be the FOV, it feels very weird.
Also the game is capped at 62 FPS, not that it matters too much because there is no real PVP.

It's a free Arma that is stripped from most of its content and features.
PvAI sucks, in some of the missions you respawn in the middle of a hot zone and die instantly to the AI and you can't change where you respawn.
PvP is decent but doesn't have a lot of depth to it and is very casual.

Conclusion: Get Arma 3 instead for a good military sim game.

Was messing around with a friend in this and cleaned 99% of the level. We burned all the money though not knowing you were meant to collect it and take it back =_= . I don't think I would play this game alone, get a friend if you are going to play this game.

Game is pretty good but you have to grind a lot to get to higher ranks. The ability to take a tank out in one shot will be satisfying/frustrating depending on if you are the victor/victim. You can go in and take out multiple tanks in a row or instantly get taken out from nowhere. I have played only ground forces so far so I can't comment on aerial battles.
