A classic from my childhood. Amazing level design with a charming art style and a stunning soundtrack. Even though this game is over 15 years old, the graphics, gameplay, and sound design still hold up to this day. A real icon in the gaming and internet world and a solid experience even for those who never experienced this game in the early 2010s.

One of the best tactical shooters out there. The core gameplay of this game is timeless, and ignoring the cheater problem that this game is facing at the time of writing this review (2024), you can sink an unhealthy amount of time into it. Although I am a fan of the competitive side of this game, you can definitely have fun with the other casual game modes as well.

This game is an experience like no other. I would recommend you try it for more than 2-3 hours before assuming that it's boring. Trust me on this one... IT'S WORTH IT! This is one of the most relaxing games I have ever played, and it's the game that made me fall in love with indie titles again even in my 20s. This game tells a story that many of us need to hear: escaping from the "prison" that is corporate life in the big city for a simpler life in the woods that provides you with various resources, connecting with the townsfolk, and forming relationships with them. Understanding the importance of the local community and how people can find happiness in nature is something that resonates with my feelings and perspective of this world.

I have a deeper connection with this game than others. I started playing it at its release date, and being passionate about programming and games, hearing that this amazing game was totally made by one person made me realize the potential of games, the stories you can tell through them, and the lives you can impact with these types of experiences. I admire Eric (the developer) so much. He inspires me to do great things even though I don't think much of myself. He is one of the purest examples of a hardworking and passionate individual achieving great results. The positive messages from the game and the joy that the player receives while playing are clear examples of how one person can bring joy across the globe with only one great idea and a hardworking mindset. One day, I hope I can do such things as him.

I don't have enough words to describe how much I love this game and how much I recommend it to everyone. So trust me, as other reviews before this one have told you: "SCROLL UP AND BUY IT."
