I could say many positive words about this game, about beautiful graphics, very interesting and engaging storyline, perfectly written characters but I think the best review will be the number of hours I spent in Red Dead Redemption 2.

About storymode
It took me just over 55h to complete the story and almost all the side missions (excluding some of the collector threads). Fifty-five hours of amazing adventure with brilliant characters and interesting dialogues, dynamic missions in perfect graphic and audio setting. A ton of possible choices that affect our honor plus a heartwarming but extremely satisfying ending.
The Wild West atmosphere is further enhanced by countless side activities such as playing cards, hunting, racing with strangers, fishing, etc. Best story I've ever played!

About Online
After completing the story, you and your friends can enter the online world and keep having fun. After a short introduction we are thrown into the game world and we can turn into: a skin trader, a moonshiner, a bounty hunter, a naturalist or a collector of unique items. Plus season passes that offer discounts on selected items and limited outfits or skins. I spent like 1000h online and I don't regret a minute of it. Red Dead Online is the perfect environment for long conversations with friends.

5 years of avoiding spoilers. And it was worth it!

The Last of Us Part II is an excellent continuation of Part I, once again taking us into a ruined world overrun by infected creatures and hostile factions. The game takes place several years after the events of the Part I and tells a dramatic story of revenge, redemption, and forgiveness.

The gameplay mechanics will be familiar to anyone who played Part I: stealth, exploration and scavenging, crafting, and shooting — all of it was highly satisfying. The relatively small amount of ammunition encourages players to use the environment, sneak past enemies or take them out silently, and explore to gather limited resources. I wrote more about the mechanics themselves in my review of The Last of Us Part I.

Just like in its predecessor, the world is vast, and the diverse locations often require you to think about how to access hidden areas (closed doors don’t always mean a location is inaccessible — sometimes curiosity is rewarded with interesting items 😉).

The graphics and soundtrack are absolute masterpieces. The game impresses with its lighting, shadows, and the atmosphere crafted in every location. Special recognition goes to the developers for the quality of the port — I didn’t encounter a single technical issue. No problems with textures, crashes, or performance drops. What’s more, the optimization is even better than in Part I. GJ Devs!

Without a doubt, the biggest strength of The Last of Us Part II is its story. It's deeply moving and shows two characters’ perspectives on the same event, which began in the first The Last of Us. The game features plenty of flashbacks that help us understand the characters’ motivations for their decisions, as well as what happened between the events of Part I and Part II. Add to that some incredible plot twists that constantly left me thinking: “WOW, did that really just happen?”. And the epic finale... followed by something more. I will not spoil it, but it doesn’t end where you’d expect.

I believe the entire The Last of Us series is worth recommending to anyone who expects a deep and compelling story with well-written characters. Combined with stunning audiovisual design and excellent optimization, it’s a game well worth playing!
