A brainteaser of a game, one of the classics during the first indie game boom. Great music and art. Has some interesting mechanics involving time manipulation. Early level platforming is easy as you can rewind time so you don't really die, the later parts require quite some good reflexes/timing coordination though.

I bought this game a few years ago, played for a while and got stuck, then I lost my save file when I switched computers, ended up never finishing it.
Never thought this game would get an update so many years later, upgrading to HD! Now I'm interested to restart this game and play it on my TV :)

Based on my experience with the game previously, it's charming, has great music, and puzzles are challenging. Recommended.

Civilization - prepare for it to be a huge time sink. There's a reason people always mention "just one more turn" when they talk about Civilization games, it's true, you'll want to play just a little bit more, and the next thing you know, you just spent a whole weekend leading your Civ to greatness (or ruins).
Perfect for people who like to plan and organize things, and don't like real time action games.
Very accessible to newcomers, and the game has low graphics requirement, so you can play it on a simple laptop (though it may get very hot from all the cpu work it has to do, be warned).
Still a classic and has aged well. Highly replayable.

Loved the "Piece of Cake" mode, made it so easy for a casual gamer like me to just button mash now and then while enjoying the great artwork, story, and music (don't judge, I'm horrible at platform brawlers). And yet it also has plenty of challenges for seasoned gamers such as limiters and New Game+ modes. The narrator is great, though some people might not like him (watch the trailer to get an idea of how he sounds. That voice...)

The art is REALLY good, I couldn't stop spamming the screenshot button while playing, and have several of the pictures as my desktop wallpapers. The story and music are memorable. Definitely worth buying.
