I've played many train simulators, mostly ones of the Train Sim World franchise. This one is probably one of the worse ones, although it does have alot of the common dovetail traits of being overpriced, having a terrible UI, and missing alot of critical information in its tutorials.

For example, the tutorial for the MTA Long Island Railroad trains is terrible, it tells you just to "set this" "set that" but not what to set it to. Nor does it tell you how to charge the brakes after emergency breaking, or even how to open the doors!

Phenomenal gameplay, beautiful graphics, sufficiently terrifying. I love games that make you say "Oh.. ♥♥♥♥..." out loud. 9/10

I used to think that shooting games were not for me, especially Battle Royale. But after playing more & more single player shooting games like Black Mesa and Half-Life 2, I began to realise that I don't really have a preference for type of game, just theme. Apex came to me at just the right time when I was running out of things to play. Anyone who looks at my most played games will know I thoroughly enjoy functionally themed games; ones that, at least mostly, appear as though they could exist. A good example of this in Apex is the reload/firing animations of guns, and even with Gravity Cannons there is some semblance of science & realism to it. I wouldn't have played apex for more than 15 minutes if it wasn't for this art style, and I love it. It's good fun, especially with friends who carry you.

EDIT: It's been a couple hundred more hours now. I hate this game. It's so fun but the matchmaking is verging on non-existent. Every single game I die in 2 minutes because everyone else in the lobby is in the top ranks with perfect aim and all that. The game just so poorly made and every release and update feels so unfinished. I mean for Christ's sake, the new character they added CAN'T EVEN CLIMB! Do they do ANY playtesting??

Don't buy this game unless you already have alot of experience with battle royale games, & generally good aim. If you're new to shooting games like me, you'll get absolutely wrecked with terrible matchmaking, and get no opportunities to improve.

Amazing game considering it's in early access. Of course there are a few strange issues that need ironing out, but nothing game-breaking or particularly annoying. The map is huge and very detailed. Advancing and exploring is always a fun and rewarding challenge. The constant battle between keeping up the power for your factory and constructing new projects is brilliant. The graphics are a whole other thing; utterly stunning sunsets/sunrises, realistic reflections and shadows. The animations of the factory buildings are beautiful too, so intricate and mesmerising, I can watch it over and over again. I thoroughly recommend this game for anyone who enjoys strategy games like Factorio, Cities:Skylines, Stellaris, Europa Universalis, etc, but also for anyone who enjoys first-person combat & exploration. Get this game, support the developers, turn this into the masterpiece it deserves to become.
