I would recommend this game to all those people who loves survival craft games.
This is not your typical Survival Craft game, so expect something different.

■How different?
In the perspective of you go out in the wild, gather resources and craft tools is the same with all other games with its kind.

Different part is, you don't stay.
You will have each mission, and you will be deployed into the wild by accepting those.
Considering you will be doing a lot of mission, you will be repeating the first stages of crafting over and over again, while your previous made progress not staying upon barking into your new mission.

Now I know this isn't very appealing, but hear me out.
If you're the kind of person who you thinks "man, if I should've known this I would've done better", and proceeds to start an entirely new play through like in "7 days to die", then this is the game for you.

■How is this not a bad thing for some people
By any means, your hard work will not be in vain just because you started a new mission.
You have your own level, and each time you level up you can craft better items.
Depending on your objective, you will know how far you should be invested(like calculating which quality of items you should be crafting that you think it is enough).
Since you will be doing this a lot of times, you will know what to do and wont be taking much time compared to your previous playthrough for crafting enough equipment to achieve your objective for the mission.

■Bad side
If you do not like this idea of, your progress(like crafted tools and base) is not being kept in each mission, then you may not like this.
But I still would suggest you try it, as I thought of the same way, and ended up liking it.

■Summary
But hey, the game looks pretty amazing if you have a good rig.
These are ultimately my opinion upon playing with single player (someone please play this with me) and at least I am enjoying it so far.
I am not going to guarantee that you will too, but I think it's worth a shot with fair amount of open mindedness.

It's really good.

If you're a fan of survival craft games like I am, then this will be a breath of fresh air for you.
The concept of being in the ocean, and surviving out there, really is great.

Time to time it strikes you with fear of the unknown, but rewards you for going through it.
Finding new places feels so good, thinking what you can find in here and what you can craft with it.

Just a short tips? Don't stay too long, always look for more advanced stuff to build and craft (Common sense I know, but I just found this out lol).

It's a survival craft game, so don't expect much.
There is a story, and the ending is nice as well. You just don't feel them while being busy with exploring and crafting.

Though they do have this mysterious vibe going on and it will pique your interest.

I finished mine within 75 hours while getting all the achievement.
And you don't even need to try so hard, 80% of it I was able to complete them without realizing I did.

It's a good game.

Wow. Just, WOW.
Great story.

I'm not a big fun of this sort of genre but even I knew the story is good.

In short, GRAB THIS NOW

Lot of XCOM players says this one is not xcom and how it is bad and all that.

I say, this one is a solid 7/10 game (or 8 almost).
This game as an individual title is not bad at all.

Just play this title as it is with none of that "oh xcom should be this and that".
You follow that, and its all good.

If you like pixel game and wants a break from all those amazing 3D graphic game they provide us nowadays, then this is a great title for you. It has fluid animation, little bit of inventory management that actually feels fun and rewarding (depending on the situation you can improve your loot with it's unique feature and to get out the dungeon with it, now that feels really good). Open a shop and get tons of profit(and i like the fact that you can earn rather fast), managing their prices, improving your shops, equipment and tackle a stronger enemy. Or be a patient player, focus on upgrading your gear and eventually massacre your boss one-sided.

Over all it is a good game, great title for a breather from all the other triple A 3D titles but then again, time to talk about it's Cons. Do you care about the story? if so, you might be disappointed with it. Dont get me wrong, it's not bad, but for me it felt kind of lacking. Like there could've been more. I mean this game has such a colorful characters, why wont you add some story behind them? like maybe create some interaction with them from time to time, make some little events. rather than just some another shopkeeper who only greets you and just hand you over their goods. It could've used some more interaction to make the player love other character of the game as well. I mean, this game gets repetitive, though it has its unique feature(like curses which can make your loot 3 times better which i like a lot) that might not be enough to make the player stay until actually finishing the game. But if there were some more story behind the other character and seeing Will and them getting closer that creates more motivation to play further, curious to see it's end. But then, that might just only be me.

I still love this game though.

for anyone of you getting a terrible fps in this game. >go to your desktop and right click >NVIDIA control panel >go to program setting from the second option and add this game and set it to high performance and youll get a smooth fps. The game is good i guess.

By any means, I'm not saying this game was bad. In fact, i believe it's more in a good side, just not worth the price (in my own opinion that is).
The whole time i was playing this, it was underwhelming... , probably i set my expectation too high? maybe so.

For me this game made me say "huh, that's it? end of the game?..... oh..."

GREAT GAME(seriously)

This game is so beautiful.

I personally am fan of "you as a player getting involved in a game itself" kind of games and this one totally nails it and I'm telling you, only few can actually pull it off.

This got me all emotional like a *****, even though I'm a guy lol

This raised my self esteem, I guess there IS something beautiful in this life after all.
