This game deserves none of your money. It's a bad ripoff of a vastly superior game; 'Game Dev Story',
and the gameplay is an overly easy crapshoot.

With a few glaring issues (technical issues, pawn chatter, fast travel problems) cleaned up or put in players' hands, a bevvy of DLC content, and a lack of the restrictions and technical downgrades on console versions, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen on PC is perhaps the best way to play and experience the game.
Dragon's Dogma presents a vast, diverse open world with many very pleasant simulationistic elements, which tend to make the game harder in a realistic sense, as you'll always need to prepare for a journey, but as for the individual elements, for instance, nights and caves are actually dark, so you'll need a lantern to light up the darkness, but if water touches your lantern, it'll go out, and said water can also wet you, which can be exploited through ice or lightning elemental attacks to more easily shock or freeze you. I could go on about plenty of neat touches of reality in the game for an entire review, but I won't, because besides that, Dragon's Dogma has some truly visceral, genuinely fun combat, with plenty of customisation, strategy and freedom with how to tackle opponents.
The story is pretty boring despite an interesting overarching theme and a prolonged ending sequence that will knock you flat on your arse, but Dragon's Dogma has some solid gameplay and dungeon-crawling to sink time into, especially if you're a fan of Dark Souls, Monster Hunter, and/or Elder Scrolls.

Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015: Do You Still Shower With Your Dad is perhaps one of the most perplexing and enlightening games I've played this year.
Initially, in my more naive, corporeal form, I lacked the greater insight to comprehend this game's magnificence, but after a long play session, and extensive reflection, I have been freed from the morass of my previously transient, meaningless existence.
No more moral stigmas exist, no boundaries nor chains to restrict me. I am the scathing hot water, I am my son and my Dad all at once. I am the vapours that cool and stick to the walls and panes of glass, I am the shower head, I am every single pixel, I am every single hair follicle strewn across every single skin cell; all of which are mine. Freed from the oppressive shackles of humanity, I maintain a renewable, sustainable existence, which no doubt sees into eternity, the next universe, the previous, and beyond. I see an indescribable, ultimate meaning and purpose beyond human comprehension.

Let's do it
Let's do it
Let's do it
Let's do it

oo-ooh, baby
Let's do it
Take your time
Let's do it
oo-ooh

Come on, baby
Let's do it
Take your time
Let's do it

You know you ought to slow down
You been working too hard and that's a fact
Sit back and relax a while
Take some time to laugh and smile

Lay your heavy load down
So we can stop and kick back
It seems we never take the time to do
All the things we want to, yeah

Now, baby we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby, we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby, we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby, we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

The love I feel for you
You feel for me
One life is all we have to live
Our love is all we have to give, yeah

There are so many things for us
To do and see, yeah
Let's take some time to be alone
Lock the door pull out the phone, yeah

And baby we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby, we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby, we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Take your time
Take the time
Take the time
Take the time

Take your time
Take your time
Take your time

Take your time
Ooh baby, take your time
If it takes all night

You can do it, you can do it
You can do it, alright
You can do it, you can do it
To the early morning light

You can do it, come on baby
You can do it all night
Take your time, come on baby
Let's do it tonight

Take your time, baby
And take all night
You can do it, you can do it
Come on let's do it, do it right

Take your time, ooh baby
Come on let's do, let's do, let's do
Don't mind, ooh baby
You can do it, do it right

Take your time, let's do it
If it takes all night
Come on baby let's do it
To the early morning light

Let's do it, let's do it
Let's do it, do it right
Come on baby let's do it
If it takes all night

Come on baby, let's do it
Let's do it, do it right
Come on honey let's do it
If it takes all night

Let's do it, let's do it
Let's do it, do it right
Come on baby let's do it
If it takes all night

Come on honey, let's do it
Let's do it tonight
We can do it, we can do it
Let's do it, do it right

Baby we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby we can do it
Take the time, do it right
We can do it, baby

Early Access Review
Provided that you avoid playing the games if/when you get odd lag spikes, Brawlhalla is a fresh take on the Smash Bros. sort of fighting game which offers technical, movement-based gameplay that's really fun, with a high skill ceiling. The choice between weapons, and the more balanced items compared to the Smash Bros. games adds a new layer of adaptability to gameplay, and, even if free-for-all may be imbalanced by the items, 1v1 gameplay is a very technical, skill-based and well-balanced affair, which is very enjoyable to delve into and master.
Of course, if there's one gripe I have, it's that mysteriously, I find myself the victim of crippling lag which doesn't occur in other games, for some reason, at seemingly arbitrary times.
Regardless, many people won't experience this lag, and Brawlhalla has a lot of competitive, technical, and most importantly FUN gameplay to offer to those who are willing to just try.
I'm a little bit sad that I lost my ranked streak to lag, but the game is fun, and it's in early access, and I'm glad to support it.

A great port of an extremely charming and well-designed metroidvania that embraces exploration. The charm is hammered home by the beautiful art design, music and settings, as well as little touches, like how you can refuse to give an innocent woman her lost dog, and she'll go into a monologue about how this will eventually cause the apocalypse. This game is just a great, classic metroidvania game, and the Shantae series definitely doesn't get the attention it deserves.

"OooOoOooH, the FEeEeLs",

After actually playing the game...I'm taken aback by the praise. It's a free game, and I can appreciate what the developer has done, but this game gets unfair attention for its 'nostalgic' nods to instant messengers, early 2000s culture, and Windows XP, which all just come across as disingenuous and poorly-remembered. There are plenty of other little nitpicsk with that, that undermine the game, too. Instead of checking whether their early 2000s themed profile pictures fit with someone of that age, the developer didn't, and included things like the movie Cars, as profile pictures.
Also, nothing of note happens in the game, and the game's entire 'sad twist' is all built upon the fact that you actually care about a poorly characterised character which I just didn't really care about. I mean, I tried to prevent them from commiting suicide, but why would I care about being friendzoned by a virtual character I know nothing about, and with all of this irritating millenialism, the memetic humour and references, and the fact that this game's "FEEELS" are all built upon an assumption, some people call this a work of art!?

Some of the most consistently well-designed levels in the series, taking a break from the ridiculously contrived settings in Tomb Raider III and II, and a more well-connected world map which changes the structure of the game make Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation a real treat to play. Pretty much all of the levels are connected, now, and with the addition of the need to backtrack, this game is structured quite differently, almost a bit like a metroidvania, albeit without the vertical elements. Add to that several good additions like shattering pots with your gun, or aiming down a gun's sights, and this game's probably, nostalgia aside, the best entry in the first 6 Tomb Raider games.
