This games sucks

Grand Theft Auto IV was 1000 times better

Basing on "All Reviews". I would vote positively if this game haven't been released the 1.0, but sadly they released the game before it's done. I have many things to say about this game

1- Hostage Gamemode sucks. The hostage is annoying, he run away for no reason, even if you are next to him and no SWAR is close.
2- Game physics sucks, you cannot distinguish which glass is breakable and which one is not.
3- Ping system is bad, if you die, you ping on the last place you died, you can't ping on camera but the SWAT team can open an interactive map and ping
4- Proning is bad, and sometimes you get exposed because of body clipping
5- SWAT have the advantage to see the map whenever they want, but "Terrorists" can see it before the round starts.
6- Timing between preparing and action phase is very short, you have to decide to see the map or prepare your loadout.

The narrative, the art style, the soundtrack, the gameplay, this game has it all on one desktop. The scenarios set up, the transitions of pages. It's worth every penny. If you have the chance, support the developers who have done a great job !

This title did nothing but surprise me from the first minute of the game. I thought it was crazy that with so much detail this game was released in 1999 for the Sega Dreamcast and it already had details that even today's games don't know how to implement. You can continue even if you had already forgotten where you were going, since the notebook is filled with notes as you progress. Its story is very simple but has a lot of development. Both the first and second games have open endings but still leave you intrigued. I highly recommend playing both the first and the second.

PS: Be careful with the slots, don't get addicted.

I could have rated it better, but I found it annoying that the mouse reappears in the middle of the screen.

▲The map design and the photo mode feature is incredible, it's what made me enjoy the game the most.

▲As for the game's story and dialogues, there is a section in the menu where you can read your conversations, "interact" with other "humans", play audios, that section is very well done.

▼The puzzles are not balanced, the first one is always going to be an introduction to the new feature, then the levels blow your mind and the last ones that are supposed to be more difficult, end up being the easiest.

▼The puzzles are very repetitive, laser here, laser there. The new functions they teach you end up being secondary. And at the end of the game they pretend that you put a box with a laser on your head BY YOURSELF, as if it was something so obvious (during the whole game, you help yourself 2 or 3 times), when there are 98 COMMON puzzles, not to mention the lost and the golden ones that add up to another 36. 134 in total.

▼And about the bridges, they don't make any sense, there is no logic to explain that.

▲I recommend the game, but I don't agree that it has extremely positive reviews, that's why I'm going to leave a thumbs down.

Short review

I recommend this game, BUT DON'T BUY IT ! Ask for a friend that loves MGS franchise and own this game to share it with you.

Wait for a SALE or when they add "Key binding" for Keyboard. More resolutions, a "Quit" option to go to the Main Menu and a couple more things this port needs.

I "Recommend" because I'm qualifying the game and content, not the port and settings

While it is an amazing and wonderful game, it made me feel so stupid that I got stuck a few times in the story. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand why I had to constantly change the skills. I will definitely replay the game and connect much more with the characters. I highly recommend the game not only for its great story, but for its gameplay that goes far beyond what you can imagine.

The game fulfills each of its features.
Simple first-person gameplay with lots of action and obstacles. An empty story that not only gets richer as you progress through the story but also as you collect collectibles. The characters are very distinctive, the world design is so diverse. The soundtrack will accompany you from beginning to end with a great immersion. The difficulty is more than correct. Not so difficult, not so easy. The game contains a main story and 2 extra game modes once the game is finished. The average play time is 10 hours and if you are looking to complete 100% between 15 and 20 hours.
