Do I love this game? Sure.
Is this my favourite and most played game? Also yes.
Is this game good? Yes, very much so, in fact I don't think there are any other games like this on the market at the moment.

With all of the above being out of the way, this game still has A LOT OF glaring problems.
1) Cheaters on officials:
And before somebody comments - "Go play community", or some slop like this; the official servers are supposed to be THE representation of the game, they are supposed to be the #1 way to play this game. Going on community is great and all, but it should never be THE WAY to play the said game. At the moment, I can spawn in Kamy, see a naked with an SVD that's doming people through the walls (not an exaggeration, message if you want to see the clip), and on the next day he will still not be banned. I can't even imagine how I managed to get my first 300 hours on this slop, and this issues has been persistent for years.

2) The state of the game itself:
For the 10 years this game has been in development, it is unreasonable buggy. For example, how can you be unable to fix the handbug for YEARS now???? I'm not as familiar with game development as I am with other kinds, but seriously, who is in charge of this project? This is BI's biggest IP, and they still delegate the least resources to it out of all of them. Sure, Arma may be the main goal, but is hiring 5 more non-junior level developers so hard? Because Bohemia makes this look like an impossible task. "Oh, b...but the game is playable and that's all that matters", yeah alright, if only had it come out the early access a year or two back, but for how much time they spent on this??? It's ridiculous and is not the kind of quality you would expect.

3) Recycled slop:
"Hello DayZ community, today we bring Sakhal!!!", or do you mean, recycled Tanoa with less than 10 new buildings?? "But they added new systems and gave them to you FOR FREE". Yes, these systems were essential for for Sakhal to work, and had they not made them available outside of Sakhal, would have made them considered to be shady, afterall, it would've made it a PAID update, and not a DLC. What about all the past updates? The ones where they added 3 new bags and some hats, from another one of their IP's Vigor? And it somehow took them months to port some 3D models? Hell, Facepunch studios with only marginally more developers add more than that every day pretty much. Furthermore, what about all the roadmap stuff they scrapped because they deemed it too difficult? "Oh yeah, we aren't going to rework the AI, here is some new ski textures for you", like really???

These are not even half the issues concerning the game, do I still like it? Yeah. Will I keep playing it? Yeah, always.
This will remain my favourite game forever probably, but the way the game is currently handled makes me really sad. I have no issues with developers or anybody at the studio individually, all the decisions are probably made by the higher-ups aiming to increase the margins, but do I think it's a valid excuse? No. At the moment, Bohemia are not worthy of holding the title at the tempo that they are doing the work. Shame on them.
