Look, I got your widescreen fix and all, and you're telling me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ couldn't actually make some Quality of Life improvements and bringed some Mobile magic to the PC Port and I don't know, make it somewhat more playable?

Oh yes, going full hack and slasher action on bosses and monsters. I've been begging for this since Stormblood, but unfortunately I'm no longer a Gunbreaker & Machinist. Damnit.

If you don't like lack of skillbars, ♥♥♥♥ off back to FF14. This would've been boring if it was turn-based or god forbid yellow circles of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You get to actually dodge them instead of "casually jogging away" and reading sentences of what boss is about to "do".

Yeah, it takes more thought than doing daily dungeon and ERPing in a "guildhouse" all night and actually FIGHTING instead of "memorize boss in mmorpg fight". I can tell they wanted to put all this in FF14 but they couldn't. How I genuinely wish they did, especially with QTE's and Dodging. Oh yes, give daddy reacher that all day.

Honestly, an online version with this combat system would rock, and I wholeheartedly love playing it even more so than PSO NGS.

Classic compromise between "hack and slashing and shooting mixed with RPG elements", and your opponents get harder as you level up. It's nice to be back to a classic in midst of all "souls-likes" crap thats being shoved in my face with people yelling how they broke the game or memorise moves.

Maybe I can actually finish Oblivion in my lifetime, lol.

This "rhythm" game is basically Dark Souls / Nioh mixed with Far Cry New Dawn, because of course it is.

All you do is memorise "boss" patterns because people forgot what a combat/fighting game is. Japanese ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Beyond Citadel is a simple arcade shooter with light RPG elements, but main focus is your gun handling.

Combat simply lets you be and you can engage all of them all as you see fit, and the gore is just icing on the cake.

That's all you got to know.

Only thing I'll recommend it for is the combat doesn't make me snooze and actually asks me to pay attention, instead of auto-attacking and 1-2-3-4-5'ing my way.

"Roleplaying" is already dead and replaced with "gearscore" or "League of Legends" for a decade now, so I just cant bring myself to care anymore. I should play FF16 sometime though.
