Early Access Review
If you can look past the graphics, this is a really fun battlefield-esque game that you can just hop on and have a couple of games when you're bored. There's a good variety of maps and the weapons feel nice to use, although I feel like a lot of the attachments for them are pointless when you find an optimal set to use.

I wish Steam had a 'mixed' review type, because that's how I feel about this game. On the one hand, I enjoyed it enough to complete it, but that's not to say that it wasn't a tedious process getting there. The gunplay is nice, but most of the enemies are bullet sponges, so it becomes a chore killing them when you start getting further into the game. The level design isn't great, and you'll find yourself running around a lot, trying to find the corridor/door that you're supposed to go down to progress to the next part of the level. I really enjoyed the first few hours of this game, but like another reviewer has said, you kind of hit a wall after a little while - it's hard to explain unless you've played it. The developers have clearly put a lot of work into this game, and for the price I feel inclined to recommend it, but there are a lot of things that could easily tip the scales.

Sort of a mix between Tomb Raider and Dark Souls. The story is a bit generic but I found it enjoyable nonetheless. The combat feels really nice, especially as you start to unlock new abilities.

Decided to come back to this game a year after it's disastrous launch and whilst it's less buggy now than it was, it's still a terrible battlefield game.
- The guns still feel terrible to use and sound like they all use the same sound effect just with slight tweaks made to the pitch etc.
- Mouse input still feels like it's trying to emulate a controller.
- The specialists are still here and whilst I appreciate that they are adding a 'class' system back in, all the previous squad-play features/innovations from previous BF games aren't present.
- The maps are still not fun to play on or interesting to look at, despite the reworks that are being done on most of them. They just feel completely lifeless - like they were designed by a committee. Exposure feels like a step in the right direction.

People always say 'battlefield games always release buggy and become good later on' but what people seem to ignore is that the older games had a solid core to them and would usually be plagued with bugs and stability issues on release. This game has gone through the 'bug fix' stage, but the core of the game is still terrible and nothing short of a complete re-launch is going to change that. You're honestly better off buying one of the older games.

I genuinely have never felt so much pain and suffering whilst playing a game in my life, yet I keep coming back to it.

This might be one of my favourite games of all time. The story, characters and world are all so well thought out, that I found myself becoming quite attached to them all. I find in some single player games that the characters can be really annoying and grating because of the writing, but in RDR2 all the characters are engaging and varied, to the point where I was actively going out of my way to converse with them. It's fun just riding around the world and exploring, and the side quests that you'll stumble across are also fun and interesting. After finishing the campaign I didn't know what to do with myself, I felt a void that I rarely experience when finishing single player games - it's that good. I can't recommend this game enough.

Enjoyable story and dialogue (as to be expected from an Obsidian game), however don't play this game thinking it's going to be New Vegas 2, as you'll be disappointed by it's length and lack of depth. The combat feels good, although there are only a handful of weapons to choose from, but still enough to try out various playstyles (if that's your thing). Give it a try if you're looking for something short and sweet to scratch that New Vegas itch for a bit.

Fun, tactical FPS. Guns feel nice to use and the maps are well designed

Good game with an old-school Cod 4 ProMod vibe to it. Definitely improved a lot since it's early access release.
