The good: Truly an incredible, one of a kind experience. The puzzles make up a majority of the gameplay and can be difficult at times but not so challenging that you'll need to look up a solution for it. This is pure gameplay and art, no long drawn out cutscenes. Very esoteric and mysterious, with body horror and lots of gore.

The bad: The combat is satisfying in my opinion but can be brutal and unforgiving, you can get soft-locked at certain parts of the game if your health gets low enough because the health re-fills are limited, as is the ammunition. This may have been an oversight during development because you can literally get soft-locked. This can be improved with simple mods that I highly recommend that improve the combat greatly, like being able use your melee weapon more than twice before recharging, and enhancing the amount of health you receive from re-fill stations.
