This is a game I had a strong anti-popular bias against when it was first blowing up. I didn't wanna play it because everyone was playing it. Once I pushed past this bias, I found a game where, once played with friends, is one of the funniest and enthralling games of all time. Even when the game isn't being funny, you can have some genuinely scary moments in this game. This is amazingly created and I hope to see more from Zeekerss in the future.

I can't really start with how satisfying my time with GTFO has been. I started when Rundown 3 had just ended, and I remember the horror me and my friend had felt when we first experienced everything in this game for the first time. As the new rundowns got added and the old ones got deleted, we became more and more entranced in this game and genuinely could not stop playing. The enticement and suspense of seeing a new danger in an already-terrifying game was a feeling I had not felt since I was a kid playing games like Left 4 Dead 2 or Outlast. This game is a hidden masterpiece that I believe should become more popular than it is.

It's known that the story in Borderlands 3 isn't that great. I agree with this. The story in Borderlands 3 is definitely weaker than the story in Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and probably even the sequel. It's not bad, but it's not good either. Despite the weakness of the story, this game's strength comes from the gameplay. The gameplay feels very fluid, clean, and nice. This game is very fun to run, but the replayability isn't as strong as the other Borderlands games. This game is still solid though, and you can have hours of fun with it.

Risk of Rain 2 is the best on-a-whim purchase I ever made. I bought this game because one of my old friends recommended it to me, and it was one sale, so I said "why not?" Little did I know, this would get me into roguelikes and rng-based games. This game is awesome. The characters are all different and interact with their environments TOTALLY differently, and the loot in this game is unique in the way that it changes the stuff around you. It's totally deserrving of the success it got.

I remember playing Terraria for the first time in 2020 and having a bias against it. This is because of my former knowledge of how Minecraft was - and I didn't even play Minecraft. After playing this game with my friends, I instantly realized that this game was incredible. It's focused on its combat and exploration while putting building and creation second, which is what I believe games should do. Overall, this game is amazing with friends. It's a tad boring solo, however.

This is also one of the one games where I prefer modded over vanilla, which isn't a diss at the vanilla game. The vanilla game is still incredible.

A game that defines a lot of my childhood. This game isn't really scary by any means, but its gameplay, exploration, and environmental storytelling is on a plane unlike most other games. This game is one of Valve's best, and it really shows through the gameplay, humor, and storytelling.

God, this game is amazing. Hilarious dialogue, amazing storywriting, awesome gameplay and grinding that doesn't feel like a complete chore. Even ontop of all of this, the game has aged like fine wine. If this game came out today, it would likely be as popular - if not more popular - than it was when it came out. Handsome Jack is one of the best written video game villains in history, and the game is so confident in itself about replayability that replaying the game is something that you do without having to complain about it.

There isn't anything I can say about Garry's Mod that hasn't been said. Most gaming culture, memes, and art pieces stem from things like Garry's Mod. GMOD has done for gamers what paintbrushes have done for artists. Simply a timeless sandbox that will never die out.

I have been playing Geometry Dash since I was around 10. I am now almost 21 years old. This game has been an important part of who I am - as a person - for the past 10 years. This game has inspired and released so much creative energy from me, and it also helped me develop important skills in other games aswell. The history of this game is rich, the community is more prolific than it has ever been, and there is so much good music in the game.

Team Fortress 2 is a game that has been prevalent in my teenage years, and this game will forever hold a nostalgic and warm feeling in my heart. Though I have become incredibly disinterested in this game since 2019, this game is still incredible. The gameplay, the collectibles, the community gamemodes, maps, and interactions make this game what it what it is - a legendary first person shooter.
