Early Access Review
A unique and fun experience. From the relaxing euro trucking of running logi to the chaotic hellhole of frontline trench warfare, there's always something out there that's going to kill you.

One brings shadow and one brings light,
this expansion is pretty tight.

A repetitive game may not be for you. But the amount of characters, builds and weapons mixed with quick and fluid game sessions make this game fun above all else. Collecting frames, weapons, completing story, decking out your ship with furniture, breeding cats, there's always something to do. Warframe is my most played game on steam, and remains in the top 10 most played on steam with good reason.

This game has come a long way. A mix between Subnautica and Euro Truck, it's getting the content it needed to be the relaxing explorative game it could have been in 2016. If you play games while listening to Twitch to zone out, it may be right up your alley. The ui still isn't great (at least for kb+m). Ships still fly like you're using a virtual touchscreen. Your suit will constantly beep at you about radiation and toxins (although these systems are more tedious than dangerous). Overall, with some changes and new content, this game could become really solid.

Unfortunately, the bugs are so very numerous, from minor to potentially game breaking. NPC ships on landing plaforms with collision but are un-interactable and other ships land on top of it. NPC ships coming into contact with you and sending you out into space through the walls of the space station. Sentinel drones not dropping your wanted level unless you die or reload the game. Mining a hole deep underground only to be suddenly flung to the surface. Some ships you buy will injure yourself when you shoot unless you fire completely still. Falling through the world or objects when you leave your ship, potentially becoming stuck and forcing a manual save reload (you have one slot). Your base NPCs not talking with you, therefore denying you base progression unless you destroy your entire base as a potential fix. Quests bugging out if you buy a ship too early, or thinks your co-op friend's freighter is the freighter you're meant to get, so you play solo just to get the freighter and the NPCs onboard won't talk to you.

There are too many right now. This game could be good, but there are so many bugs that need fixing, far more than I listed. If you buy it now, just know what you're getting into.

Supergiant does it again. Pyre is not just my favourite from the games I've played from them so far, but will keep a place in my most beloved games of all time.

Sidenote; I am expectant of a Ti'zo plush in the near future.

Glad I got around to playing it. Quickly became one of my top games.

Early Access Review
What could easily be dismissed as yet another early access survival game on Steam is saved by a unique premise that is utilized horrifyingly well. Fish monster anxiety is the true enemy.

I absolutely adore this game/story experience, and at the price, it's a steal. With every season, the story gets deeper and more complex to the point of "holy balls what is even happening?". Your choices can have the most dire of consequences.

Great voice work, unique art style and a soundtrack I enjoy so much that it's now on my computer. A highlight of this year's releases.
