Apex Legends is by far the best F2P Battle Royale in my opinion, and has the most potential of them all. Now that is has a dedicated studio of developers and designers working on it, Apex Legends will keep getting better. I've tried all the other BRs and popular shooters out there, but the movement, gun play, and lore of Apex Legends is unrivalled. Other games feel clunky, childish and or extremely slow in comparison. Being a high skill ceiling game over a year old with some loyal fans, Apex Legends can be hard game to pick up, especially if you are new to FPS or BRs in general, and it does punish you for mistakes. With that in mind, the difficulty and high skill ceiling is also what makes it great, and genuinely rewarding as you improve, frag out and get wins. If you're going to give Apex Legends a shot, don't expect to frag out and win easily as a new player. It will likely take some time and effort, but it will be worth it. Don't let losses or deaths frustrate you, find some friends you enjoy playing with, and jump in!)

I purchased this game because of mostly zombies and dlc 5. The zombies is amazing and the multiplayer is great, don't let people tell you its bed when it really is being over criticized. Correctly, this game has performance issues, not major though. The experience must be tried if you never have played a current COD. Campaign is eh and the graphics are amazing for a COD game. Not worth 50$ but still should be fine if you catch a sale. Movement is amazing and freely flowing. The only problem with this game is the campaign. The story seems repetitive and boring.

Treyarch can pat themselves on their backs for creating such an amazing game. With their pass game history of mediocre games (CoD 3 and CoD WAW). They have set the bar high with Black Ops. Black Ops comes out on top of MW2 with vast improvements and most importantly, dedicated servers for multi-player. As well, the online RPG leveling system allows players to purchase which perks they like instead of having to work through a pre-determined list of perks. Beautiful multi-player maps, balanced guns, and crisp controls make the multi-player experience unforgettable. The single player campaign is roughly 7-8 hours of story-compelling, non-stop action. A game that can deliver a good story while making the characters feel believable and alive is a rare occasion. If you are a CoD fan, this is a must purchase. If you like FPS, but dislike CoD games. This is still a MUST purchase.

Aside from few small glitches I haven't noticed anything that I would call a serious bug. That is in SP at least since I have't played multiplayer yet.

Now as for the game itself as a really big Splinter Cell fan I have to say that as far as content and presentation are concerned I dare say that this is perhaps the best Splinter Cell to date. Yes even better than Chaos Theory in some aspects. Its lengthy and the Perfectionist difficulty (the only true way for every Splinter Cell fan to play this game) is ruthless (sometimes even too much). There is a huge number of main and side missions which you can repeat as many times as you like in order to get specific play-style bonuses and achievements. What I like best about the game is Fisher himself. For the first time we get to see him in some very specific situations where he can't rely on his gizmos. Additionally I thought that the absence of Michael Ironside might prove to be a huge minus however I was surprised to see how well the new actor fits the role of a more natural Fisher. He is not that much expressive which is a downer sometimes but still Fisher's voice acting surprised me in a positive way. Don't know if I could go back to listening Ironside again :)

Now the bad part. The controls are ridiculously laggy with key bindings which will sometimes force players into despair. Especially on Perfectionist difficulty where its extremely important to react fast. It will happen all too often to wait for a guard to pass a door in order to knock him down but then watch something shocking happen when you press E like closing a door right in front of the guard or flipping a light switch on which just happened to be right next to the doors. There is also a problem with picking up knocked down enemies from the floor because in almost 95% of the situations when you press E above the body you will be picking up the enemy's weapon instead of his body. Then you have to press E again to get back your silenced weapon and hover over the body of the lying enemy just to find a spot where the game registers a body picking action. Sam also buffers too much control commands. I.e. you accidentally pressed E twice to close an open door Sam will refuse to ignore the second keypress and open the door after the first animation has finished. Then there are a tons of unpredictable and long animations which will make life harder on Perfectionist difficulty.

If it wasn't for the horrible controls I would rate the game 10/10 without ANY hesitation. Huge amount of quality content, lengthy and very challenging missions, excellent voice acting and a very good usage of Sam's character to progress the story (for the fist time since Splinter Cell exists I'd say). All the reasons to praise this game. An excellent return to the roots of what made Splinter Cell an excellent and very specific game. But the horrible experience with the controls has to be taken into account which is why I give this game a well deserved 8/10. For anyone who likes Splinter Cell buying this game is not a question of buying it or not just a question when to buy it.

This game definitely suffers from the unfair treatment of the Deus Ex fan community. Of course it is perfectly natural for people to compare this game to its predecessor, but people should realize that a sequel doesn't have to an upgraded version of the old one with prettier graphics and better sound effects. This is the thing at issue here, Invisible War is structured differently from its predecessor and a lot of people are extremely frustrated by that. People should try to overcome that failed expectation and evaluate this game for its own merits. This is a solid FPS/RPG hybrid with a memorable story. You want to be rocket slinging death machine? Then go ahead and be so. Or maybe you want to be super stealthy and avoid killing anyone, you can do that too. You can be brutish and destructive, or you can be subtle and diplomatic. The gameplay has loads of options to chose from, and Invisible War does a better job of portraying that than its predecessor. The story is original, it moves beyond the cliché.

Excellent, underrated game from start to finish. First-rate voice acting and great Borderlands animation style. The story and characters draw you in and keep you entertained throughout, faithfully adhering to the Borderlands universe. Small segment of SJW-heavy side arc regarding a lesbian couple, aggravated by a nails-on-chalkboard Aussie-accented character. (They go on and on about their wedding, and on and on and on, and then on and on some more. Enough, I get it already) Anyway, not too bad that it can't be tolerated. Minimal cringe - one scene in particular where you sit there blubbering away (gag). Females are flawless and brave at all times while the men suffer from d-baggery, yellow belly and awkwardness. Besides a few forgivable flaws, game has a big heart and soul. Opening credits sequences are fantastic. One particular "gun battle" should go down as one the legendary moments in gaming. Camera work is near perfect, soundtrack superb. If you already know what to expect with Telltale game story-driven gameplay and are a Borderlands fan, this is for you.

Easily the single best FPS/RPG/Adventure hybrid, this game set the standard for next-generation RPGs a decade ago (a standard which, sadly, few have approached since). With gameplay mechanics that found the magic balance between player skill and character attributes, intricate-yet-accessible character customization (skills, augmentations, weapon customization, limited inventory forcing you to choose equipment suited to your play style), and a strong multi-linear (generally linear plot with multiple routes from start to 3 similar-but-narratively-distinct endings) story that invokes some of the most popular global conspiracy theories of the post-cold-war West, Deus Ex adapted the RPG genre to the FPS interactivity model in a way fans of both genres can appreciate (particularly impressive with respect to RPG fans). The graphics and audio (short loops for ambient sound, rudimentary environmental audio, short soundtrack) are dated, though well-implemented, and the AI scripting is more-or-less the 3-D version of Space Invaders AI (all guns blazing and weave as you CHARGE!), but even today the game is fun and engaging. In fact, despite having played through the story a dozen times or so, I'd gladly shell out another $50 for the same plot and mechanics on a contemporary rendering engine with slightly tweaked AI scripting.
